I used to have a thread on this, but looks like it got locked down during the Vmax situation.
Ok, I realize that may be a 4 letter word and I've obviously read all the threads here and have spoken to Bill...errrr....Andrew and Bob and got their side. So please, keep and trash talk out of this thread. I'll give you guys the straight dope on my experiences.
All are 65-110mph runs, with little variation in relative height change. Generally it's only 4-5 feet.
Before Vmax
This time with the OEM 20's on with Pilot Sport tires, same thing - runs in both directions, blah blah blah.
Very best runs were 5.72 and 5.71 seconds
After Vmax
I had probably 100 miles or so on the tune, so I guess through or almost through the "learning" phase and it's definitely gotten quicker.
After ~50 miles...
Best run were 5.18 seconds
After ~100 miles
Best run 5.09 seconds

Just had the car flashed again, call it Vmax version 2? Drove the car about 150 miles and then proceeded to get in some logged pulls.
Best run 4.75 seconds.
Just like the other runs listed above, there always seems to be at least one run where the stars alight. Road is completely straight, crack off perfect 7000rpm shifts, who knows.
Besides that run, it was all around easier to have quicker pulls. I had another pull of 4.98 and a ton at 5.08-5.13
Anything can mess with your pull. Hesitate when going WOT, shift 200rpm off, the road has a curve in it...all that adds tenths.
These were all manual shifts. I tried letting the car do it from a roll, 5.80 - bleh. From a dig, def let the car do it's thing...from a roll...grab them paddles![Smile](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Will the engine melt? Maybe. Will I toss a rod through the block? Who knows.
I'm heading to Atco dragway this Friday night, it's go time - wish me luck.
