They can get quite a bit ... it depends on how badly they want to sell the car.
I think the deal they are offering to you looks pretty solid for a 2016 and being relatively early in the model year. The car is discounted in the ~$19k-$20k range - if the MF I have is still correct. For comparison, my 2015 R was discounted about $22k in March at the end of the model year.

I had to negotiate pretty hard to get $7K off MSRP on my 2016 R, but that was right at the start of the 2016 model year. The car had only just arrived at the dealership a few days earlier as part of their first batch of 2016 cars. I would have loved to have gotten $22K or even $10K off.

Hello,
I am newbie, I need some suggestion ore recommendation in regards to a lease of F type R 2016 MSRP 110k.
The option was given by local dealer is 3k down ( including first payment tax and license) 1100 per month.
I haven't had the chance to sit down and bring down monthly payment.
Do you guys think 900 including tax is doable ?
I know that's little too low but I have to start somewhere.
please let know if I should keep pushing it or what is a doable lease on F type R with MSRP 1110K

Sounds like a great deal. With a 67% residual, the money factor has to be 0 to get a payment of $1100/m, with $110,000 MSRP, or they are discounting the car quite a bit. I say if you want the car go for it.

So I re-ran your numbers at 67% residual and 1.9 APR...to get $1100 w/o tax it looks like they're probably giving you 4% discount...so you probably have some wiggle room. To get it down $900 w/o tax you need something like a 10% discount. BTW, are you sure this is for a V8R? The residuals sound way too high to me. The V6 I know have 60-ish residuals, but I thought the V8s were all in the 50s, or maybe low 60s....even the low mileage leases. In any event, if the Rs are truly mid 60s residual that's great news for jag resell!!!!

I guess the residual is much higher these days on the Rs. I just looked at jaguar's site: 2015 and 2016 Jaguar F-TYPE - Lease & Financing Offers | Jaguar USA
Working backwards on a R coupe, the residual for their special offer is 62% for 30 months, 25K miles. My 2015 residual was 52%!!! granted, it's for 36 months and 12K/year...
Hmm..wonder if I'll be in a position to buy the car and resell it to the dealer at the end of my lease....

That's basically the same as I just got 2 months ago for a 2015 V8S. ($1017/month after tax, $5K drive off, 10K miles a year). Congrats that's a very good deal.

I think it's good though. Definitely the best above has gotten on 2016. They're definitely making a lot of money if they signed it up as a demo, so don't feel sorry for them when they act like you ripped them off. I hate when they do that
Good luck!
