Literally thousands to choose from on Fleabay, SMD LED, Cree or COB (Chip On Board), after trying heaps of them over a number of cars I prefer COB.
Plenty of colours to chose from as well, best choices for the F-Type would be bright white, blue or "ice blue" which is very close to the default Phosphor Blue lighting scheme.
On my RHD car the driver's side was easy to access and change but the passenger side was a bit tricky to get at.

I just put "T10 LED" into eBay Motors and got 75,569 hits, see here: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...ed&_sacat=6000
If you have trouble ploughing through that many try filtering by type (eg COB) and/or colour (eg ice blue).

I'm 6', 220 lb and wide in the shoulders and it was a bit of a struggle but I got there in the end. The secret to the passenger side one is to squirm in and under on your back and keep wriggling around until you find a position where you can get the fingers of one hand on the globe to pull it out without breaking your back. IIRC I poked my head under first to get a sighter on the globe so I could figure out exactly where it was and it's orientation, and then I moved position to get a hand on it and I went by feel after that. I found it impossible to get both eyes and fingers on it at the same time, as you say you just can't fit a shoulder and your head in far enough at the same time for that.

Heaps of us have replaced the puddle lights with logo projector lights, very cheap and very easy DIY.
If you don't want or like logo projector lights then simply replace the bulbs with T10 wedge W5W LEDs, again a piece of cake to do.

If not maybe you are in the wrong sub-forum.
The XF has puddle lights on the under sides of the external mirrors and none in the doors, the F-Type is the other way around.

Bumping this ancient thread. Did anyone recently buy footwell LEDs that match the OEM phosphor blue closely?
I've been using ice blue ones with a very close colour match. I've had these LEDs for years and also used them in my previous XFs before but one of them started flickering so I ordered a new set. There's loads and loads of "ice blue" ones out there, but the new ones are clearly more blue than the phosphor blue which also has a touch of green. So I'm looking for another set but want to avoid wasting time on another set that doesn't quite match... so any links to "ice blue" footwell LEDs that actually have a similar colour as the OEM phosphor blue would be great.

That said the only ones I have replaced in the F-Type are the two footwell lights (if you discount the projector puddle lights) and I went with bright white COBs rather than Ice Blue as I wanted lots of light. That was well over four years ago now and they are still going strong with never a problem.
Edit - these are the type I got but in Ice Blue instead of white: https://www.ebay.com/itm/32285103707...gAAOSwzQFZ8-Hk
Edit 2 - just checked the size of those and they may be a tad too big!

Cheers Kim. Yep, I also had different types in my XFs over the years and remember that I found COBs best as DRLs in my first pre-facelift XF because they were so super bright in only one direction. Why do you find the COBs best by the way? Strongest light?
Anyway I guess the technology itself shouldn't affect the colour which is my main concern. Should be light blue with a touch of green.
Hmm, yes, those do look a bit big. Might fit on the driver side but perhaps not on the passenger side where IIRC space was more limited. Will consider them anyways.

The overhead console lights are already LEDs and you can't access the globes anyway and the boot/trunk lights are also already LEDs.
All the other lights I changed to LEDs were not T10s - the headlights, the puddle lights and the reversing lamps.
Edit - whoops, of course the stock puddle lights are T10s and at first I did replace them with plain LEDs!
