Default Lloyd Luxe Mats

I recently picked up a set of Lloyd Luxe mats from Autoanything. My car came with the premium carpet mats, which are pretty thin. I didn't feel they were commensurate with the car and wanted to upgrade.

So far I am happy with the new mats. A couple caveats to note. The new mats are so thick they must be compressed a bit to get them under the clips in the floor that hold the mats in place.

I bought black mats which I though would go well with the ebony interior. If I had to do it again I would go with ebony. The black color on these mats is the darkest black I have ever seen. The ebony color would probably match a bit better.

Pics below are the new mats next to the factory premium carpet mats.

Thanks for posting pictures of the Lloyd Lux Mats. I have all three sets of factory mats: All-Weather (T2R5507), the Sports Carpet (T2R14121PVJ), and Luxury Carpet (T2R16570PVJ). I like the Sports Carpet the best since they don't seem as fragile and are very light. The plushest (of course) are the Luxury Carpet, which I save for special occasions rather than daily driving. I pull out the All-Weather ones when it is wet or if I'm going somewhere I expect to be muddy or on dirt roads. Your Lloyd set look a bit more plush than the Jaguar Luxury Carpet mats, and you're right that the color is super black! The ebony color of the Jaguar Luxury Carpet mats is a perfect match, and it is good to know Lloyd also makes an ebony mat. Thanks for the information!

Jag actually makes a higher pile mat with the badge etc - I think they call them "Premium" - definitely thicker than the standard mats and match perfectly.

I have had good luck with Lloyd mats in the past. I recently ordered special "Diamond Patterned" full coverage mats that I had seen advertised on facebook and seen on Amazon. I got set for my wife's Lexus, and for my F-Type. Not very happy with either set. They would not anchor with the included tabs. I had to us velcro to attach them to the carpet. The sizing was not that good also.

Got mine Lloyd mats today after some researching on the forum. Thanks to cpq100, I went with the ebony color and it matched the interior perfectly. Here re some close up photos to see the thickness of these when compared to OEM mats They look good, and more importantly, feel better than the stock ones

I bought a cargo mat with red stitching and the Jaguar logo for the back to match the front mats. I think it looks great but the black is much darker than OEM and no badging like the OEM mats either.

My 2021 F Type came with the premium floor mats with Nubuck edges, a $100 premium with the Full Extended Leather upgrade. And the mat on the drivers side is already showing wear after less than 2 years and 6200 miles. That pisses me off. I have purchased from AutoAnything before, they are a good outfit. I'll be keeping the LLoyd mats in mind for replacements. Thanks for the feedback.

Assuming the mats are wearing under your heels, why not install Heel Pads (rubber) under that area?

Our F hasn't required them yet, but we have them on two of our other cars.

Living in Massachusetts, there just never seems to be a good time to change out the rubber mats!!
There is always crap on the roads of one sort or another.
The nice ones are still wrapped up from new and likely to stay that way until the cat is sold.

Good idea, thanks for the tip. 95% of the time I am driving my F Type I am wearing tennis shoes or some type of casual shoe with rubber soles. It's not like I'm wearing Vibram soled hiking boots or something so the wear to the carpet is surprising. I also pick up a lot of gravel and grit on my tires and track that into the garage so I have added a door mat to the garage floor right outside of where I park so I can give my feet a quick wipe off before I enter the car. But still the carpet has worn visibly.

I can vouch for the Lloyd mats. I bought mine 5 years ago and they are still like new. Very nice feeling and look good. They vacuum clean well too. Saying that, I agree, they are very hard to get in and out of the car clips as they are so thick ( I have weather tech.mats for the winter, also awkward to clip in and out and not very comfortable but great for the Boston winter grime that I don't want getting anywhere else).

Default Lloyd mats are great.

Lloyd mats are very oem looking but even "richer" overall...very classy mats and good value. Have had them in the past and they wore very well. I am just a sucker for the coco's...not sure why.
