That link is for those arriving on Thursday and departing on Sunday but, as Josef has told me, the user (you) can reduce the length of their stay [still] using the above link.

Thanks for the link - just made my reservation. At $22/day for parking, maybe we can all park in Jay's driveway.

I'll work on that (the parking fee).

Also, please remember to send your "registration" e-mail to the address Unhinged set up for that purpose, which he then forwards to me. While I already have your contact information Dave, I want to be able to communicate with all attendees (will always be Bcc).

For the cars coming up from the PA/NJ/VA/MD is there going to be a caravan on the way up?

I hope so. We can organize that as the time gets closer to include the visit to the F40 shop.

That is the plan. We should try to arrive at F40 by noon so we can back time from that along the east coast. Likely rally point might be Jersey Turnpike at PA turnpikr entrance but we can work that out before the end of April. We can pick way points along the way for folks to meet the crew along the way.

Zach and I are hoping to meet up with you all at F40. We'll pass a few hundred yards from my house, on I-495 in MA on the way to ME. I may see if I can find an overpass without fencing, to shoot a video of the caravan with my SLR. We'll see.

I think in May, my car may be rechristened from Salsa Red to Lobster Red.

I'm holding off on registering until mine is delivered and deal is sealed, but always keeping this trip in the back of my mind. Is anybody else wondering what the demographics of this crew is looking like? I see some of the "car histories" in signature lines around here and can't help but feel like I wouldn't necessarily fit in with the crowd.

Based on the sampling we got at the Lancaster, PA get-together (many of whom will be participating), the ages will range from about 30-70. If you are worried you are too old, somebody can bring a walker for you. (Otherwise we can pick up some diapers and a rattle).

With this crowd, you will find that youth is not age dependent.Too many of us are real adolescents.

My last sports car was a '76 MG Midget (My dad's car actually, I was in high school), and right now my other car is a hybrid, if that helps your demographics.

Lance is right, many of us are 50, going on 20. If you enjoy your car, that's all the matters. Jay's itinerary has some serious restaurants and museums, which may or may not be your cup of tea. But hanging out with car lovers from all walks of life should be interesting.

+1, I'm 33. Leaning toward going myself.

Would it be terribly rude if I only attended some of the scheduled events and did my own thing during others?

NOT AT ALL!

Just let us know what parts you probably won't participate in.

Reminder:

send an e-mail to Lobsters-2016@usa.net with the following information included:

1) Name (including, if Forum member, Forum name)
2) Contact Information, including e-mail and cell phone.
3) What car you will be driving.
4) Whether you will have a co-pilot with you - name of co-pilot - or solo (there might be some Forum members who seek an empty seat; assuming that's OK with you).
5) T-Shirt size (yes, I am designing a T-Shirt to commemorate this event).
6) When you plan on arriving.
7) What parts of the Jaguar Lobster Run you plan to attend (see list above).

Also let us know if you are interested in the F-40 shop visit midday Thursday in Portland Connecticut (different Portland, different state).

Wonder if we should have some vinyl/magnetic meatballs printed with a lobster logo. Googling 'lobster meatball' isn't very helpful, unless you're hungry.

You must have the only steel bodied F-Type in the whole world.

Doh! That would have been an expensive mistake. Of course, could remove the door card, and put a 2nd one on the inside. Assuming they attract, not repel...
