Looking for a good , solid extended warranty.
My 2014 is obviously out of warranty. The $23, 000 total I am spending on a new motor/diagnosis/issues related , taught me an expensive lesson. I plan on keeping the car about 2 more years , so an extended warranty will be a must! Anyone have a good aftermarket extended warranty for their FType, or any suggestions for something . Reasonable that covers most items we should be concerned with

I don't think your car is eligible for Jaguar extended warranty, the car has to be CPO and purchased from a dealer. What you can buy is a third-party insurance. These are designed to deny claims using fine-print gotcha clauses. Not a good deal.
Here is what likely would have happened if you purchased before you found hole in the piston - they would have insisted you pay out of pocket fee to dissemble engine then denied claim on the basis of having wrong injectors.
Also, now that you have replacement engine, insurance will blame that and claim faulty part was installed or that it was installed incorrectly as you didn't use dealer.

I just bought a 2016 R from my cousin at a Land Rover/Jaguar dealer. The car has 11,000 miles on it and a bit of warranty left but I wanted coverage. He hooked me up with a warranty he said covers just about everything with 0 deductible. My car isn't here yet but I will get the paperwork soon by mail with the company name of the warranty. It may be worth looking into. Cost was about $2700 for 4 years.
