Great! It seems like Sunday is the day of choice for many here.

The only Sunday I can't make is Sept. 10th as I'll be attending a wedding in Boulder, CO. Otherwise, I should be available. I think it will be great to meet at Supercar Sunday first. On the first Sunday of the month (which I guess would be the day before Labor Day), the turnout is unbelievable. There are probably 500-1000 cars. I think it would be great to have a large Jaguar contingency.

I think the Supercar Sunday event sounds awesome! The fact that the September event will be the day before Labor Day causes a few issues, IMO. Heavy traffic, more cops, and forum members out of town for that weekend.

So if everyone is keen on the idea of starting at Supercar Sunday, we would either have to do it on 08/06/17 or 10/01/17.

Which of these two dates works for most here???

The Supercar Sunday event sounds intriguing, but I would have to think this event does two things counter to our real interests.

One: I suspect the canyon roads are more congested than normal, especially as the event winds to a close.

Two: it would stand to reason that the authorities are well aware this event brings more performance cars into their revenue generation snare.

Supercar Sunday begins about 6am and is over by 9am. It is in the parking lot of a now closed Woodland Hills Promenade Mall in the business district of Warner Center. To get into the hills you have to drive south on Topanga some 5 miles. This event has been going on for so many years that the police actually stop by to look at the cars themselves, and all the participants are well behaved coming into and leaving. I have never seen a problem. I think it would be kind of cool to meet there for an hour 7-8am, introduce everyone, take some pictures among hundreds of great cars and head to the hills.
