Default Lost my mind...found my F_Type

New member here, been dreaming of owning a F Type for a couple years. Car nut for decades and have owned about 15 sports cars over the years. Thought I was losing the itch until the F Type came out. Really made my socks go up and down!

I live in Montana and exotics are rare here for lots of reasons, all of them associated with good sense and financial restraint. I have neither.

Been searching for the perfect fit for months....found it in Vermont. Private owner: 2014 F Type S, Stratus Grey with Baroque performance seats. ALL the options, original sticker was $94K. 36,0000 miles and in mint condition, or so the gentlemen claims. So I wired the money, he overnight the title and now we wait for the shipping truck to found.. Very excited and scared at the same time. This forum has been a great source of info and entertainment- Thanks!

But the fanciest exotics always have a Montana plate! I thought everyone in Montana uses a Ferrari as a daily driver?

I hope you mean Brogue performance seats, not Baroque (those are found in Trump's apartment). Brogue is a lovely colour - I have this colour in my BRG.
No need to be scared...you'll love this car. Get a CTEK battery maintainer because these cars need full battery voltage all the time (easy to do).

Same as mine! Montana has an industry in forming LLC's for the purpose of low sales tax and low license fees. Problem is getting insurance with your home state DL.

I mean, if you're buying a Bugatti Chiron, you could register in Montana and save $300K for your Ferrari daily.

I see what you did there. Thanks for the correction!
Where do you connect the battery tender, truck or post under the hood?

You can connect it in either spot but in the trunk is the favored location and there are explicit directions in threads that mention the CTEK units. Very easy to do and it will eliminate battery-related issues.

So I researched this and they are located right across for the Kalispell DMV. Very convenient!
