Default Lower crank pulley options

Eurotoys 11.6% bigger
VelocityAp's 11.8% bigger
Paramount's 15.0% bigger
Also the blower pulleys have different claims as well, some adding 1.4lbs of boost, some 1.7, and I recall one claiming 1.9. Can ANYONE verify if these measurements are accurate? Or are they just wild claims to catch your eye, because pricing is drastically different ranging from $800 to $1300+ for "seemingly" the same crank pulley...

I measured my Eurotoys pulley at an 11.8% increase (170mm vs 152mm OEM). I can confirm that the VAP pulley is the same size.
The Mina SC pulley is 60.5mm which is an 8.3% reduction from the 66mm V8 pulley (only 2.4% from the 62mm V6 pulley). Some of the other aftermarket SC pulleys measure In at 62mm (e.g. Eurocharged).

Thank you Unhingd for the info, so if eurotoys and velocity crank pulleys are the same, do we know if paramount's is as well?

I can’t say. I’ve never measured that one.

Posted this in another thread , one that I started, regarding the same subject.

I bought a pulley, measured it and made a drawing using AutoCAD, here's a PDF.
Top is OEM and the bottom is the Paramount and Viezu (same company) 15% larger.

Any comments, please let me know. I can easily alter it to 11.8%, or whatever you need.

My vote is to go where support is best for your location. For example, I live in the US and happen to have nearby VAP dealers and VAP end users/customers - the latter seem quite happy with the level of support. I have been actually quite impressed by VAP's interactions with me and with this forum. And their tunes/work seem super integrated - support has been strong. So my gut says go with them for my location/situation.

My plan is to go stage 3 at some point. ECU, two pulleys, and TCU. Given this, I want my pulley to work with their other stuff.
And, times are tough - I want to support the vendor - profit is ok...it pays for them to eat.

I understand what you're saying. I've just always been a DIY'er. Anything I can do on my own, I will.
...plus, I cant afford it, so I'm going the cheaper route.

I installed the VAP crank pulley on a 2018 R and I have a tough time seeing how I could have fit anything bigger. It was tough to fit the belt between the crank pulley and idler wheel as it was. It answered the question I had about why VAP doesn't offer an even bigger crank pulley rather than a crank pulley and supercharger pulley. The answer is it would not fit without replacing the idler too.

Hey I know this is an older posted but I really appreciate you modeling this up! Could you email me at jmcalister AT gmail DOT com? It seems you have messaging turned off and I have a couple of quick questions.

I gave VAP the business....it is important to support people that are doing things to support our cars. At one point in my life was a machinist in a physics department....and I'd still buy from VAP and did. Just the right thing to do.

Note - have nothing to do or gain from saying the above.
