Follow up lugnut question. I bought black Gorilla lugnuts from a forum member. I was able to remove and replace 19 of the 20 nuts on the car and of course there was one that wouldn’t come off. The metal cap just spins. I’m gonna take it to the dealer to have it removed.
My question is whether or not this would be covered under warranty. On one hand it was probably the result of the guys that applied the ceramic coating over tightening the nuts when they put them back on. On the other hand the lugnuts are a known issue. When I asked the dealer about how long it might take to remove, the service rep said “not long, we get them all the time”.
Warranty or not?? Either way I’m not gonna lose any sleep over it.
