Malfunctioning Door Locks

The keyfobs for my 2016 F-type no longer unlock its doors. To be clear, the handle pops out, the car beeps, I can hear the unlocking "sound," but the door remains locked until and unless I use the physical key. Likewise, while inside the car, I cannot unlock the passenger side door by pressing the "unlock" button. Only lifting the handle will open the passenger door. The Keyfob locks the doors just fine.
I have searched the forum for a similar description of my issue, but to no avail. I replaced the fuse for keyless entry, but no luck. Any other ideas?

What's strange is that they would have had to go bad at the same time, both driver and passenger doors. The keyfob works in that it pops the door handle out, the lights flash, etc. When I press the "unlock" button in the vehicle, nothing happens for either door. When I start driving, the doors lock. Makes no sense.

Agree will be the lock actuators IMO. The fact that they lock but not unlock shows you they are failing. The fact that you can hear them unlock shows the electrical signal is being passed onto the motor correctly (so is not a harness or control module problem) the fact that it physically doesn’t move the latch shows you it is weak in one direction (usually pushing ). Watch any video of failing lock actuators and they all fail or get weak in one direction while still strong in the other.
Yes it is a bit weird for both to fail at the same time but if you think about it both have had the same number of opening and closing cycles so wear will be the same in both. The other point of failure you can look at is the cable run from the lock actuators. These have to be firmly anchored in their origin and also destination grooves and clipped in snugly. If they have worked themselves loose any slack created will diminish the strength of the actuator action.

Your reasoning makes sense to me, for sure. One additional symptom to add that just started this evening: now the side mirrors are intermittently refusing to unfold. Had to drive home looking at myself tonight instead of the cars in the left and right lane. Got home, hit the button again and they unfolded. Pressed the lock key and they stayed out. I ran an OBD check, which came out clean. Dealer appointment is this thursday, but I'm going to try and get it in sooner now that I can't count on the mirrors. Is there an ancillary battery on the F-Type?
