MAP sensor failure.

MAP sensor failure.
This is my first REAL post and not a response.
Go easy.
I have been dealing w a CEL issue that correlates to "charge air cooler inefficiency" This points to the MAP or 'boost sensor' failure. I removed the map sensor and cleaned it up a bit w some electrical cleaning solvent.
Reinstalled the sensor and the car threw no codes for a day, and now they are back. I've a new MAP sensor on order, but I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this yet. (my car is essentially a 2013).
Thanks for reading.

Sorry for the late reply, the DTC is P026A.
Found this:
When your car's 'P026A Check Engine' light comes on, it's usually accompanied by a sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach. The light could mean a costly problem, like a bad catalytic converter, or it could be something minor, like a loose gas cap. But in many cases, it means at minimum that you'll be visiting the car dealer to locate the malfunction and get the light turned off.
Looks like a trip to the dealer.
