Just a heads up that our track event with AMOC is open to all brands, and we still have another 10 days or so to sign up. MCL Motorcars will be there with the F1 simulator, and will have a DBX707 available for test drives. This will include instruction (you don't need any experience to participate), and similar to our past event it will be low-key, intimate and relaxed. It's not a packed track day with 50 other cars, so you can enjoy stretching the legs of your vehicle without worrying about speeding tickets, or getting smoked by a hero in a clapped-out track rat...
We have booked an available date at Area 27 which should give us a good chance at excellent weather without being TOO hot: Historical average is 25 Degrees C, and 7% POP
We're also hosting an evening dinner at Backyard Farms Chef's Table private dining experience. As their normal capacity is 20 people for a formal dinner, this will be a more family-style event, with multiple stations & patio seating, paired with Synchromesh wines. Finally, Synchromesh wines (www.synchromeshwines) will be hosting a day-after guided driving tour of 3 Okanagan wineries, culminating in a lunch at the Naramata Inn. Spaces are limited for both the track event and evening Dinner, we may not be able to accommodate all those who are interested but will do our best. We are trying to run this as a not-for-profit event, and have based the costs on having around 30 participants. If we can't hit that we may need to open it up - maybe to Jaguars or something like that. Likewise we will also have a finite capacity so if we end up with 40 or so, we may be able to offer some rebates as well.
