Default The meaning of 0W20 and 5W30 in engine oil types.

I was thinking of changing my engines oil before winter. Its been a long time I though about oil specs so I googled for a logical story.
What I found is a very well documented article which I thought could be of value to other forum members.

For the members that don't want to read the whole article: take 0W20 oil and replace it every 6 months if you do many short trips or drive hard.
With high mileage [ up to maximum service intervals ] once a year is fine, if you do not make many short trips or drive hard...
