Michelin Pilot Sport 4 A/S
I was plannning to replace my PZs with Conti ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus A/S tires in the Fall, but
I just found that Michelin actually makes a PS4 A/S that fits my 2021 R-Dynamic (20 inch wheels).
Previously I had been unable to find correct sizes.
While the correct sizes do show on the Mich site, they do not seem to show up as fitting the car on TownFair Tire or other on-line sites
Does any one have experience running the Michelin A/S tires or have any thoughts regarding the Michs vs the Contis?

I just put the Mich A/S on the front of my XKR on the advice of my tire guy. I was comparing them to the Contis, which were a little cheaper. While I can't give a fair comparison (I didn't try both), I can tell you that the new Michelins made a huge difference in grip and handling over the old Dunlops (date coded to 2015). The Michelins are several pound heavier than the Contis, which could be good or bad depending on your purpose. I felt like more weight meant more material, and I thought it would be a safer bet.

Further reading indicates that the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 is only available in run-flat for the front wheels, though it is available as a regular tire for the rear.
It is odd since most of the line is not run-flat (ZP- zero pressure)
So, unless Mich decides to add th their line before the Fall, I guess I am back to the Contis (or possible the Potenzas).
I used to have run-flats on my BMW 535 and hated them!!

So i cross shopped the new DWS06 plus with the PS A/S 4 for months and ended up with the Conti's. I have always been a pilot sport guy- but i am VERY happy with the continentals. I grew up in South Bend, IN where Tire Rack is headquartered and know quite a few people who work there- I spoke with a few of them and they all agreed that while the A/S 4 is a superb tire, it hasn't changed in many years.. The DWS06 plus is a new tire, with new technology, etc. I was shocked but they ALL recommended the Conti for that reason.
Just my humble opinion, but i went continental- not to mention they were less expensive.

I run 19s so I was able to find the PS A/S in normal tires on all corners- the run flats would have been a definite deal breaker for me, i despise them.
I just put the conti's on this spring, but yes, I will run them year-round here in Maine. I also know of at least a few others of us here in New England that run the conti's all year.

Thanks again,
The weather is not much better here in Massachusetts - perhaps less snow.
So, I plan to switch out the PZs in the Fall and leave the Contis on year round.
The F-Type will stay in the garage when it is snowy or icy, but come out on those dry cold days when the sun shines.
The Jeep is for the other days.

I have PS A/S on my my CT6 3.0TT, I have used them on previous cars, just and outstanding in the rain and have very good traction in snow, they are responsive and have a great ride in the dry.
I'm a big fan of Michelin, when I use up the P-Zeros on my SVR I'll fit the car with Pilot Super Sports.

I have a set of Michelin PS AS 3+ all season tires for my 2015 F type S. I have been really pleased with them. I would not suggest using them for a track day but they do pretty well with average 'spirited' driving. I still run my PZ's for track days and daily in summer but they have about had it so will most likely upgrade to Michelin PS's soon. I have run Conti DWS for years on an old BMW, an older Jag S Type and currently on my Jag XJ. They seem to be good tires for their intended use - great in wet and light snow and decent for more spirited driving. A few non-scientific observations about them: my old BMW was an occasional use vehicle and i found the DWS's got hard over time. They were probably coming up on their 10 year life with about half their tread left - traction became poor in all conditions. Again, 10 years old, car stored outside with limited use so I don't consider that a failure of the tire. I also found the DWSs to be a little 'fragile' with spring time broken pavement here in New England. Have replaced several due to bulges, cuts, etc. Pays to pay for the road hazard coverage. I bought the DWSs again when it was time to put tires on my daily driver (2008 XJ) so I'm still a fan.
