Default Mileage anxiety

Ever since I picked up my F type I've been driving it every single day, in two weeks I have put 1200kms on it. I've started getting anxious about overloading my mileage on my car but I just can't not drive it everywhere I go!!
Does anyone else get mileage anxiety?

Just drive it and enjoy it. Let the next owner worry about the mileage.

Took delivery of my coupe February 15 of this year with 9 miles on the odometer. I have about 5400 miles on it as of today. Took it in for its first oil change last week. Just enjoy it and drive!

I bought mine and I love driving it. I have no plans to sell it.

Agree with the above posters - just enjoy the car. My F-Type is an 'investment in fun.' Have fun!!

+1. At 200k miles you can rebuild major components and still be financially ahead. Drive it. That's why you bought it.

That's why leasing was no option. Enjoy.

Aug 16th 2015 delivery and I drove it hundreds of miles to Tahoe as soon as I picked it up, off the lot. I have 9000 miles so far. 9 months, I thought I would have way more.

I hate to blow past warranty inside of a few years but the faster I get there, the quicker I can tune my engine without fear of voiding my warranty. So there's wins no matter how you look at it

My friend, having just had open heart surgery at the ripe young age of 61, I have anxiety since I can't drive for 3 more weeks. That is anxiety, however not putting miles on a car is not even a question. Ride baby, ride, ride, ride!

If you're intending to mod the engine, why wait till the warranty is over? If it goes boom during or after, it'll still come out of your pocket.

I'll let the warranty run the course. I just got a brand new flywheel and clutch "for free" because of the warranty. Modding may have had them questioning that. I'll happily wait. =)

ALSO..

I saw this thread again, and thought the only "mileage anxiety" that truly exists nowadays is with my friends, Teslas, and long trips where their kids get car sick in the back. LOL

Not in my case, but that may have been luck of the draw.

I was thinking that precise thing as I typed it... probably not luck, probably they just noted it had nothing to do with it. The sensors are crazy now... they can track anything from clutch slippage to whether someone farted in the car. If they wanted to be a pain, they could have, but that doesn't seem to be the path they are taking with their customers. Happy to say!

What mileage anxiety? With the snowy winter we had in Colorado, I wasn't able to drive much. But, I'm now catching up on that with participation in the Lobster Run. The odometer says we put 5500 miles on ours since we left home about 3 weeks ago, and tonight we're staying in Pierre, SD, with another ? miles left to get home on Saturday, I hope.

It's the journey and not [necessarily] the destination. Not a bad proposition with an F-Type under foot; literally and figuratively.

You and Donalyn were a welcome and poetic addition to the Lobster Run and you clearly get it that a car is for driving. Safe travels and happy motoring (and watch those speed limits; unless you have a police escort).
