Thanks
From placing order to taking delivery, about 10days. Never gave me a tracking, called at 9am, returned phone call at 11am, saying can't pull up tracking info. It could be better but I did receive everything in a timely manner.

They are a bit overwhelmed right now from the Black Friday sale. They are usually more responsive and quicker in normal times. Give them a bit longer...You will be happy with the product and results for sure.

Take care,
DC

Was the intake on sale for a Black Friday event? I will be looking to have the pull and tune done most likely at spring time and looking to install the intake myself before then. How long of an install is this? Looks simple other than taking apart the car to gain access to the intake boxes.

Took me about 2.5 hours. It’s straightforward but sometimes things don’t line up to the correct holes so I just zip tied the intake tubing to keep it from wiggling around.

Sound clip

Wow, the supercharger sounds great with the intake! This does not help support my “keep it stock” mentality.

I know what you mean. I just bought my F Type a month ago and already bought the Mina intake, VAP crank pulley, VAP tune, R1 pads/rotors, spacers, and lowering springs. Holiday sales is probably the best time to buy anyway.

funny cause I’ve yet to take delivery of mine...currently parked at a friend’s place in CA waiting for carrier pick up. I almost bought the VAP springs and tune but talked myself out of them to keep it stock.

Just wanted to give you an update on my case. It's been 1 month from my order date and so far no delivery nor a single reply to few emails I sent them...poor customer service.

Are they shut down?

Anybody else experienced this?

similar for me, except it turns out they cheaped out on the shipping as well and I’ve now been waiting nearly four months due to them using USPS to South Africa with our broken post office system...

Ahhhh...looks like they use USPS for overseas shipments which is PITA because on such a big distance if it's been lost nobody is going to refund them.
Anyways even standard USPS has always AWB for tracking purposes which I never sadly received...unless it's not been shipped yet.
I even don't know what is the status of my order (booked / during production / shipped).

Sorry to hear you guys' situation, they did use USPS, but I'm in US so..

Try calling them at 11am-1pm EST, that's what worked for me.

I just got my December 10 credit card statement in the mail yesterday. And that’s a letter. I can’t imagine how long a package will take. Like the rest of government, the USPS is broken.

I finally received the kit! 4 months later, but it's here now.

I haven't installed yet but am wondering what the risk of hydro lock would be with the filter location? Would it be fine if you drove the car in a big rain shower? From the pics, it looks like the filter location is fairly enclosed?

It is well enclosed, and little chance of mere rain water getting to it. Just avoid off-roading through stream beds and pulling a Jack Nicholson through the surf.

This is how a 6 years old filter look like, not too bad considering the age i guess.
Initially unimpressed by the difference in noise but once I get it past ~5k rpm under load, boy were I wrong. Adds an extra layer of madness to the already awesome exhaust.

Love it! It's hard to hear at low RPM's over the exhaust but at full chat with the windows open, it's like a symphony!

Time for my update.
Order placed on 11th of December.
Now I know it's been shipped relatively quick = 19th of December by regular USPS with assigned tracking number (which Mina never provided).
It's been delivered just today.
So overall it took 1,5 month from order to delivery.
Very slow but received everything as described and well packed.

Hey everyone! Tried doing a search and can't seem to find anything about, but anyone that has done the full Mina kit replace the filters for it? Mine will be going on the car in a few days and after seeing the filters they seem like a no name cheap like auto zone brand. Was hoping to replace with something a little better quality like AEM, AFE or something like that. Any suggestions or has everyone just used the supplied filters and been good to go with them? Thanks!
