Default Mina Gallery response

Anyone ordered anything recently from Mina Gallery? I ordered a lower intake kit last week and it hasn't shipped yet. They haven't responded to a request for a status either, but they charged my card day-of, even though they say that part's a manual process. Sure were in a hurry to bill me. lol Is this normal for them?

Same here. I ordered a CF Font Apron Finisher and inquired recently and got no response.

I think Amazon has spoiled us all. It seems like most other places take at least a week to ship things.

Be patient...they always come through, albeit slowly.

Amazon has spawned serious overhaul in order fulfillment industry wide. I ordered parts from an online fische at a Jag Dealer in TN on the same day, and they were delivered today. 🤷‍♂️

I had a delayed order not too long ago. I looked up their contact number online and gave them a call. They looked up my order and expedited delivery. I have a feeling that they are understaffed due to Covid, so a friendly call to them may help speed things up.

Are you guys starting to receive your items? I wanted to place an order this upcoming week for an intake and wondering how the delay has been and if everyone is finally getting some responses or receiving their items.

I don't know. Not replying to emails doesn't seem like a good business practice to me. It's more disrupting to handle phone calls than simply reply to an email. That's not Amazon spoiling us, that's just a good business practice.

Hmmm... this is not good. I have recently gotten the bug to install the P7 grill and get rid of the black bumper. I have the Mina hood vents (sans Supercharger plate that I took off) and at the time they made me some matching stainless mesh inserts for my side vents that look nice. My plan was to contact them to see if they could make me the P7 grill in wire mesh to match the hood and side vents (got the idea from the Arden F Type mod in the recent book by Andrew Noakes). Back when they made me the hood and side vents I experienced the same issues that you guys are describing here, but that was when southern California was on fire (Thousand Oaks specifically) and they had people impacted. They seem to be a pretty small operation.

Chris at Mina is basically a one man show. He tries his best. I live near his shop and stop every so often to get parts for myself and to help out ofher Jaguar forum members. If I can help any of you, pm me your order information, and I'll stop by his shop next week.

Still haven't received the lower intake, but Chris did eventually respond to my email a bit over a week ago, saying he'd check on the order. I got an email the next day saying my order status updated to 'shipped', but there wasn't a tracking number. Still haven't received it, or a tracking number. Even with shipping delays CA to FL should only take about 4-5 days, and I get notifications from USPS/UPS/FedEx when things are in-transit to me and I haven't heard a peep. I sent another message this morning. I hope it's not coming DHL or LaserShip, I'd like to get it in one piece.

Agreed, though if he is a one-man shop he probably has to sift through several hundred emails a day from people asking the same dumb questions...that's pretty standard. Might be worth him hiring someone to handle customer service, but I'm withholding judgement. Anyone know if they actually make the intakes in-house? Might be a supplier issue. Everyone seems to be having those these days. A lot of the websites I use to shop for hobby-type items have notices about distributor and supplier delays and shipping ETA's are inching up toward several weeks instead of days on most of them. I had to wait a month on an O-ring for my motorcycle a while back. I found it NOS on Ebay and forgot that I had ordered it from the dealer, and it showed up in the mail a few days ago. lol

I'll update if/when I hear back or receive the kit.

I placed my order about 3 weeks ago and I received a tracking number today and it shows delivery on Sunday. Now to figure out what needs to come off to install it.

I just received my intake today as well. Was finally shipped to me last Friday via FedEx. Chris even followed up today to make sure it arrived OK. A little bumpy to start, but all is well.
