The text is illuminated and does pulsate, but I need to cover the button to see it. Perhaps I should wind up the brightness of the instrument lighting.

Those with the amber button: is it just the text that pulsates, or the whole switch?

On mine it is just the text and it does show up better with the top up, in the garage or at night.
