The past 3 years we went on Thursday. Crazy busy there, but saw allot of folks like Wanye Carini. Last year I made reserrvations a month in advance like this year, so had better seating and much shorter wait

I would be fine with heading down at my leisure on Friday, meet for Lunch in Carmel and then all do the 17 mile drive as a caravan.

Cool. Let me check around to see if there are any good restaurants accepting reservations.

Here's the new proposal:

1:00 PM - Lunch at Basil Carmel in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Right off Ocean Avenue.
2:30 PM - 17 Mile Drive to Cannery Row
4:00 PM - Check out Exotics on Cannery Row (Exotics on Cannery Row)

I have a reservation for 6 right now. So please let me know if you are up for lunch, and if so, if you have a guest or not. After lunch we'll do a quick walk of Ocean Ave, grab some coffee. I'm sure there will be plenty of eye candy parked on Ocean Ave!

I have another lunch commitment, but will try to join for the 17 mile drive or meet up at Cannery Row.

That would be a pretty cool random sighting, just to recognize you from your blue SNG Shirt! As for me, I'm working on some Jaguar livery, so be on the lookout for a white coupe with a giant leopard head on the sides

Monterey Car Week is almost here. Between work and/or other commitments doesn't sound like there's much interest in the Friday lunch/drive. I'll keep the lunch reservation open until this Friday (8/7). But unless there's more interest I'm just going to cancel it. Regardless, hope to see some F-Types around in Monterey on Thurs and Friday!

I can't make it on Thursday or Friday for the drive, but will be there for the races on Saturday and Sunday. I'll be parked in the Jaguar paddock, and hopefully I can get some pictures in to finally show my car

Monday I'm hosting a J.A.G. lunch at the Monterey Fish House @ 1pm,so far we have 24 confirmed and if anyone here would like to join us,just PM me.

Tuesday is the Carmel Ocean Ave car show, and Friday is the PG Rally so I'm just trying to piece stuff in during the week, there is so much to do you'd need a 'chopper to get to all the events.

Saturday,I'm doing the Jaguar ride & drive experience at the Quail Lodge around 9am,I hope to drive an AWD or manual trans F-Type.

PM me if anyone wants to hook up...

Thumbs up Car Week has begun...!

Was at Laguna Seca yesterday and today's the big J.A.G luncheon @ 1pm for 25 guests and chocolate cake!

Tomorrow's the Carmel Ocean Avenue show...who all's coming in this week?
There are still spaces in the Jaguar corral @ Laguna as far as I know, $78 for Saturday includes entry, pit pass and parade laps...

Unfortunately can't do Sat (prior family plans). Would love to be at Laguna Seca. I heard they are bringing the Ford GT to show off.

Laguna will be nuts for sure on Saturday...Ford's 50th celebration for the Mustang is taking place as well so no doubt Ford will pull out all the stops for this event.

Would love to hook up with you guys, just PM me if you're planning to be in town for the wknd.

Making a day trip to Carmel on Saturday for the Jaguar Drive in the afternoon and a BMW event at Pebble Beach in the morning. Since my wife will be with me, we will likely be making a few shopping stops as well to keep her happy!

Lol Jay...I'm sure she'll find plenty of shops happy to take her money!

I'm doing the Jag drive first thing @ 9am...I hope to drive a 6-speed or AWD model.
