Great car! I was down to the XJR or the CTS-V because of the bang for buck used.
Found the right XJR first.
I agree Caddy needs to bring back the CTS-V coup!

I need to take some photos of it. Of course I can’t keep it clean right now with all the construction at my work. I’ll get working on it.

Those new CTS-V's are sweet. 640hp and rear wheel drive is a pretty good combo for bringing some fun to the family sedan. Does it feel as fast or faster than the F-Type?

Wish they would go back to making a coupe. My last 3 cars were all Cadillacs (STS/CTS/CTS-V) and never have had an issue with them. I hope Jaguar is the same. Enjoy!
Nice gen 2 V! What kind of mods did u do?

I too, wanted an XJR. But after having 2 XJ’s, both a short and a long wheelbase, I didn’t feel the urge for a 3rd. Good choice though. XJ’s will always hold a special place in my heart. 😉

Hard to say. Perception of speed in the CTS-V is much different. As far as “feel,” it’s hands down the F-Type. And mine is tuned, so it feels that much faster. But I think even stock to stock, the F-Type is quicker.

No doubt out of the hole the Jag feels quicker....and is by almost half second or so. It would be interesting to see a roll-on comparo from 40mph - 120mph. I bet the Cadi would walk.

Here was my 2010 CTSV and my 2014 CTS-VSport (CTS-V wasn't available at the time). Both were fantastic and delivered the power so differently. The 2014 twin-turbo was boosted to about 500hp, she hauled and loved the color interior. But the 556hp 2010 kicked in all power right from the start. S/C spooled instantly and you can lay rubber for ever with nannies off. Fun. I drove the 2017 CTS-V, the power delivery was so much more refined then the 2010, obviously.

I will definitely test my 2 cars against one another once the caddy is broken in. From a dig, there’s no doubt in my mind the f-type will win. The caddy does have launch control, but I doubt it’ll be enough to overcome the f-type’s awd and weight advantage. From a roll, it should be interesting. Power levels are about the same while the caddy has more torque. The f-type has the faster-shifting ZF8. I will let u guys know the results once it happens.
