My V8S is gone

My V8S is gone
After 5 fantastic years with my 2014 V8S I have moved on and traded in it last week. I have loved every moment with the car it’s just been just so enjoyable to own - it was a very tough decision to take. I don’t normally keep cars this long but the F Type has the whole package, beauty, soul and the soundtrack is intoxicating, like nothing else.
For those interested in values I got $35k for trade in (or $38k inc tax benefit on trade in). It was a base spec V8S. 29k miles, Firesand, black cyclones, black pack and I installed the OEM carbon fiber center console, mirrors, hood and fender louvres. If it pops up on cars.com and someone is looking for a rock solid V8S that’s been serviced by JLR every year - this is your car.
The only negative during my ownership was losing the pops and crackles after software updates twice. First time I got it fixed, second time I didn’t pursue as I was planning to move on.
Pic below of my departed F Type and it’s replacement. The 570 sounds awful by comparison but by god is it a ballistic missile. It’s like a Lotus Exige turned up to 11.

Yes it was new - I intended to buy used buy got talked into it by the salesman. Ultimately with the full warranty period and some additional extras I felt like there was enough value to go that route vs used.

The 570 is incredible. A comparison in my mind would a Harley (F-Type) vs a Kawasaki K2.
The Jag isn't nearly as refined or as fast, but it has enough character and sound to put a smile on my face at less speed.
The 570 would probably cost me my license. Very nice upgrade regardless - congrats!

They went with the car - guess I could have taken them off and sold them to earn a few extra $$ - too late now. The original fender louvres were destroyed taking them off so couldn’t have put them back anyway.
