They're almost the exact same size (just slightly more rounded) as 2015 - you just notice them more because they are body colored instead of black.

I think they look fine on dark colored cars -

If I ordered a light color, they would be painted immediately along with the body colored portion of the rear diffuser.

That's a tow hook - they install them in front & rear for shipping purposes

Hey! That looks exactly like my car! What's it doing in Chicago? It should be on its way to Dallas!

No, they haven't given me a VIN number yet. I doubt if its at the port already, I'm guessing its still being built right now.

Also fwiw, there are no 2016's in the entire state of Washington or Oregon yet. Also its been soo long that at this point, I almost at the don't care point. It'll show up when it does or it wont and I'll probably end up getting another car!

i really like the hood vents compared to the MY15s, but the body colored rear diffuser and bottom of the side skirts look wierd.

Silly, they're for wiping the mud off your cowboy boots.

The vin should be available on or about the "Accepted Build date" (page 4 of the Vista-Web build sheet).

Dean-

It is Elmhurst... I was there earlier today and I'm sorry to report that it's already sold & gone.

I know these guys really well. Due to the fact they also have a BMW dealer on property, they are strong on BMW trades (I traded my M4 to them).

They only have one more R coming, and it's white.

Let me know if you need any help and I'd be happy to introduce you to the right people there.

I had a build date of April 13, but when I checked today, I got my VIN and the car was in Halifax on April 13. Should be soon. FYI the build sheet shows a flat bottom steering wheel on a V6S Coupe.

Congrats on your early shipment. You can still opt for a round bottom wheel, but I think I'll stick with the flat bottom.

Default No car yet

I ordered my 2016 in January of this year I was told 2 weeks ago that is would be in early (original estimate was may) for today 4/17/15. Just called the dealer and no car and he hasnt even received the invoice yet which he says means the car will arrive in day or two.

I think it is safe to say the original deliver date was probably closer to reality.

Just wish they hadn't said it would come in early. Such a let down.

Considering I ordered on Nov. 19th, had an estimated delivery date of Mar. 20th and still haven't seen it shipped; I wouldn't be too upset yet.

I ordered a 2016 base v6 coupe in the 4thweek of January and order put in promptly a week later. It was then built in the 3rd week of February. The car was due to arrive on the 16th of June. Car is now due to arrive in Port Melbourne (Australia) and delivery is now 2 weeks earlier than stated.
Looks like the car takes about a month to transport from UK to australia. My concern is about rust issues?
