Default Not sure if it's been mentioned yet but

Wow, I thought the fact that the ambient lighting changing to match the driving mode at night was just awesome!

Also I learned that the oem Pirelli P-Zeroes are the slipperiest tires ever and need to be replaced by the Michelins before I kill myself. I feel like I'm ice racing.

Brand new, the PZeros were probably much better. Over time they get hard and slippery.

Pilots are my tire of choice anyways. I'm Michelin brand loyal.

My Pzeros are only a couple months old but they've been great. Sure footed in the rain even. I was surprised after all the bad press on these boards. I'm looking forward to wearing them out and trying the pilots because they must be that much better.

At 14k miles my OEM Pzeros started to get down right scary. Wanted to go with Michelin's but with the Lobster Run three days away and the back order on the rears I was faced with getting another set of Pzeros. 1500 miles into them they are great but.........I know what's coming sooner than later.

I've found that with the top down and the wipers on auto, whenever the wipers sweep, the airflow is disrupted for a moment. I feel the change in my hair.

I was disappointed to find out that F-type is not water-proof at speed with the top down. All my other convertibles I could blast through some drizzle without getting wet, F-Type unfortunately drips around A-pillar in similar circumstances.

1. USB MP3s cannot be directly alphabetized. There is a work-around found on post 33 here: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...-149292/page2/

2. There is a flat surface on a concealed wiring box under the dash on the passenger side (outside wall) that makes a good spot for the 3M Command Strip, stick up, air fresheners.

3. There is a lot of wind noise on this car

4. There is a custom front license plate holder that works great and mitigates the need to drill into the bumper. If you are considering buying, do not allow the dealer to drill the bumper. The main site is below but check eBay because they sometimes sell cheaper. STO N SHO 2014-2017 Jaguar F-Type

5. There is a custom phone holder that mitigates the need for covering vents or using adhesives. You can then use the top portion of the magnetic vent mounts and screw it to this mount. Jaguar F-Type 2013-2017 ProClip Console Mount*-*ProClip USA

6. If the hood is not completely latched there will be rattle that is hard to diagnosis. Check this first. Ask me how I know.

7. A call via bluetooth takes too long to transfer back to the handset after the car is placed in park and turned off since the electrical system stays on.

8. It is difficult to learn all the features since the car shuts down the electrical system in 3 minutes if the engine is not on.

9. My left foot wants to find a pedal and I ended up buying the Jaguar foot rest pedal to protect the carpet

10. There is not a great place for anything in the cabin but I still haven't found a relatively inconspicuous place for a small trash receptacle. Any thoughts on a product/placement?

11. Voice integration is a glaring omission...but I knew that going in.

I've had voice integration in cars. The only thing that it caused me to do was sharpen my Profanic language skills.

Miss the voice integration in my former TTS. Older vehicles were craptastic but newer Audi implementations were quite good since you train and record your own voice and the vehicle compares to your own voice and not some arbitrary standard.

I've somehow just discovered the "anti-stall" clutch feature in my V6S manual. It's a bizarre feature, for sure. Are all of you manual drivers familiar with how it works?

Yes, along with the clutch delay valve reducing the likelihood of sudden engagement, along with the ECU feeding more fuel when it senses the rpm dropping, the car is fairly difficult to stall out (unless you just got the clutch fix done).

And to add to that i have also experienced in a different car that if you do stall the car will immediately turn over again. No driver input to restart other than clutch down. No idea if this is true on the f-type however.

Yep - the F-TYPE does that, too...
