11. The AT's CD/DVD player is not in the dash, it's the same location as yours.

14. Looks AWESOME until the sun shines upon it and blinds you driving down the highway.

All that luggage was designed to fit in the convertible. I suspect there's lots of room to spare in the coupe.

Not so if in S & Dynamic modes, it'll bounce off the rev limiter until you manually change up.
Maybe true in S but not Dynamic but I've never tried that at 6k+ rpm.
And in D if you accidentally hit the "down" paddle it'll rev it's **** off to the rev limiter.

Cigarette lighter still has the clear plastic on it protecting the chromed plastic. I know that the door sill plates still have the plastic on them (and am leaving it on), but was surprised that I hadn't noticed it on the lighter after two years.

yes. but it is absurd. It's only 3 pieces. two relatively hard soft-sided luggage, ie a checked bag and a carry on. Then a garment bag. I love this garment bag with my whole heart. But then it's a teeny tiny dysfunctional laptop attache and a dob kit that is super awesome, but too small to consider luggage.

They aren't well made. I hate to say it. It's got a 10 year warranty, but they all fit precisely into the convertible trunk when empty, but take squishing and pushing when you actually are using them to house clothes. They degraded measurably after one long road trip of about 10 stops. The garment bag is something I love so much, that I would buy another set of the luggage, just to have. It's sublime, and for short work trips, it's the perfect carry on for suits and laptop, etc.

But for this car, other than that garment bag, I would immediately forgo the luggage for soft sided bags, etc. There is SO MUCH ROOM in the trunk. No one would ever believe you, but the trunk coupled with behind the seats and the general storage, we filled the car to capacity with an inordinate amount of necessities and luxuries.

Reminds me of a favorite quote:

"You can do without life's necessities, provided you have some of its finer luxuries" - Random guy from random sci-fi-horror film, Pitch Black

I enjoyed that film. I think that's a pretty good. The sequel is more sci-fi than horror, but this one is more horror, in a sci-fi setting.

No garment bags in any of them though, as far as I can remember. Perhaps they just don't know how much better everything is with *good luggage*.

Had the car since September last year.

The headlights turn on automatically when you reach 260 km/h. The don't go off until you disengage Sports/Dynamic mode, in my case I needed to park and engaged reverse.

Cheers

Had the car for 2+ years and never figured that out!
I must go out and test that today, I wonder what it's set for in the V6-S
What model do you have Stu?

;-)

Here is what I learned today. If the alternator dies and you completely run down the battery (in my case while driving to the dealership), you can't get into the glove box once everything shuts down. For some reason that sucker was locked up tight. I guess the lesson is that I will now put the number for Jaguar Roadside Assistance in my phone.

Don't you have the call button near the mirror area for the roadside assistance?

Got it. I have my dealers service number on my phone, but that doesn't help after hours. I will need to program the roadside number in there too.

Thanks for the heads up. You can also call from the Jaguar Remote app if you have that. (Haven't tried it myself.)

Once the temperature hits 4 degrees C or lower a little orange snowflake symbol lights up about 1 cm to the left of the temp display, in the display between the tacho and the speedo. Then, once the temp rises above 4 degrees C it goes off/out. I can only guess that 4 degrees C was chosen because that is the temp at which water starts to freeze at one atmosphere of pressure. Not sure what else is triggered by 4 degrees C or lower, but I suspect the rear window demister and external mirror defrost may be.

I don't think anything is triggered except for the light. I see it on a regular basis in the wintertime.

Yep, I saw it for the first time a couple of days ago, early in the morning after the car was parked overnight in the GF's driveway. Temps below 4C are fairly rare in Adelaide, early morning in mid winter after a cloudless night are about the only times. Never seen snow here in 60+ years.

I found that these rubber post/seat seriously needs treatment/lube to extend their life - a very thirsty piece. Back hatch.
