Pretty much have concluded the pattern is...seatbelt off, put in park...
One could also ask..."why would anyone care"
( having a bit of a slow eve tonight)
I'm right there with you. Love this feature when getting the mail.

P.S. Man I'm getting lazy as I get older - only go by the neighborhood mailbox once a week now. Bills and junk mail. Oy.

I just got back from my round trip SoCal run. I learned that at 6'1" it's pretty much impossible to wiz in a bottle from the F-type drivers seat.

Might be easier if the bottle is in the car.

I guess I assumed this would be the case, but the car has good "closing presence," or the awareness it creates in the rear view mirror of the car you want to overtake, and the propensity of the driver to move over. More so than other cars I've had, people tend to get out of the way when I come up on them in an inside lane. This is a nice feature in the US where there is little to no lane discipline and people just camp out in passing lanes. Of course, there are still way too many oblivious drivers or "nobody needs to go faster than me" speed *****.

More than once, I've had people ahead of me pull onto the shoulder to let me pass - and I wasn't pushing them at all or going fast. Never seen that before.

That optional Bond package with twin .50 Caliber's in the front does wonders for your commute time.

I certainly hope you're not counting on me doing that for you Dave during the Lobster Run?

I have discovered that I love this car each time I enter, ignite and drive it!

I love the seating, the steering wheel, all the ergonomic interior, the ground clearance, the roar, how all people look happy when passes by, the smooth ride, the exclusivity on the road, the exterior design, the crazy rear drive, and boy - love the exterior color, the Ammonite - have now weeks with one wash and the car looks amazing still.

You know what? I discovered that I love it exactly as it is! A beauty that does not need any improvements. The perfect creation to me. Just perfect!

The cruise control seems good on level ground but just last weekend discovered that it is pretty bad downhill. It was set for 55 and was doing 70 in short order. Now I don't expect it to keep a constant speed on the downhill, but it should have some deceleration properties? I went down the same hill two days in a row and it kept speed better w/o the CC on the second time, just lifting off.

Your cc may need an adjustment or repair. Mine always tracks within 1mph of the set value, up or downhill. Steadiest cc I've ever had.

I could have written exactly the same (except for the color) 😊
Thanks!

Mine tracks similarly to yours, within about 1mph, but it can take a few moments to figure that out especially when resuming cruise and those last few mph might take a good 5-10 seconds to reach. To me, it preforms as well as the previous GM vehicles I've owned.

I find how it picks the gearing when in cruise to be much more interesting in how it seeks to be at roughly 1,500rpm at any speed below about 70.

In my case the computer doesn't get much choice in the matter .
