Need a little help
Hi Folks,
I am a long timer lurker who owns a 2011 XF Supercharged and I am thinking of picking up a 2015 V6 S coupe. I am in the midst of negations and the dealer is claiming that the $3000, mark your territory discount is for 2014 and not 2015. I have stated that is not the case but can't seem to find anything to support my case.
Anyone have any info I can show the dealer?
Cheers,
Rob

A little strange that your dealer claims the program only covers 2014 models only, but not unheard of, especially if the manuf wants to move older inventory. In that regard, the dealer may tell you they do not recognize Edmunds as a 'persuasive authority' on Jaguar incentive programs, at which point your best bet would be to contact other Jaguar dealers to confirm.
Not sure to which type of discount program conflict you are referring. If you are concerned whether you would lose Jaguar's "Mark Your Territory" cash discount if you use the "Mark Your Territory" leasing discount, it appears you can use one or the other, but not both. OTHO, if you are talking about negating any JCNA incentive, I can't see any JCNA club discount interfering with whatever manuf's discount you might receive from Jaguar. However, I'm not familiar with the JCNA program. If it is like other club programs, you may have a waiting period to become eligible for the discount, e.g., a year's waiting period is required to receive the BMW Car Club of NA's incentive.
See this earlier thread on the JCNA program: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...scount-120872/

Jaguar has been running a fair number of national TV commercials during the "Mark Your Territory" promotion. At the very end of the commercial, there's an "offer cannot be used in connection with any other discount or club program" narrative, which i interpreted to mean the JCNA discount.

I was able to combine the Monterey Car Week discount from this past August and Mark Your Territory for a total of $5500.00 discount. The Monterey Car Week one is specific per person who test drives the F-Type at the Monterey event. They may have another special deal at this Aug Monterey event for MY2016.

Well I worked out with the dealer. I didn't use the $3000 because it would negate the lease deal but they came down enough in price that it still made sense to move forward. So now I am in possession of an Italian red v6s coupe and it is a hoot. Looking forward to a bay area get together.
