You mean you have zero stress - other than waiting for your F-type to be delivered. Many of us are very familiar with that. Not a bad problem to have!

Jobs like that can be 99% boredom and 1% sheer panic as multiple things fail at once

Btw one of the members here, Shift, has a blog at #goodtobebad #catclub, nice read if you haven't seen it yet

LOL . . . that's an oldie, but a classic worth seeing again. Having spent my entire career in the airline industry, it rings very true.

Have you seen Jaguar's "Desire"? Some of you newcomers may have missed it...
Shortfilm: Jaguar F-Type presents Desire - YouTube
Possibly on of the worst videos I've ever seen.

Wow, how is it that you guys all handled the wait without going crazy? At this moment my baby is being loaded in southampton port. Every free minute I have I check and see if the ship has left port and how far along its route it is.

Maybe I need to go test drive another F-Type while I wait...

I knew it would be a problem if I drove one before I ordered it. I knew it would make me more impatient which I likely would have just found one 'similar' to what I wanted and bought it. Since I really wanted (specifically, not wanted) certain options I still wanted to order one so I refused any test drives. The first F-Type I drove was mine when I brought it home. That approach didn't curb the anxiety during the waiting for my order, but it likely made it a little easier.

The wait is doing my head in! Probably not helping myself watching everything I can find online about it either...
Heard from the dealers, they managed to interrupt an order so mine will be in the first batch of AWD built, expected delivery mid-late May. Sooooooo long. Until then I am burdened with driving my RS5. Oh the misery

Here's the convertible version reviewed by the same chap

Funny, you're in the UK waiting for your AWD, and mine is on the boat headed my way to the US... If things go well, I'll post a review for you to watch.

Sounds good! I can live vicariously through you for a while hehe

My dealer is arranging a visit to the factory so I may well get a chance to see mine moving through the assembly line that should be fun

Have you considered a hobby? Perhaps you can make an origami F-type while you're waiting. That would keep you busy for a while.
