Anyone have some pictures that they've taken that I could get my hands on for something?

Don't have to be super professional... Just better than my terrible pics.

What is up with the apparent white mesh in the side vents when the center grille appears to still be black

Could be, but its very consistent in every pic from all angles (including others I didn't post - see link), so maybe it got painted or something.

That video gave me goose bumps. Good on ya preventing that prius driver from merging lol. I though he was going to go anyway!
