Need tire recommendation for 2017 F-Type S with 19"'s
I'm at 35k miles and in need of another set of tires for my 2017 F-Type S with 19" wheels. The Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires on it were a significant improvement over the factory OEM's. It's been a couple of years though, so I don't want to assume that they're still the best. Does anyone have a tire recommendation that's better than the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S? Thanks in advance.

quick prediction: 100% of the responses will confirm the 4s is the greatest tire ever produced.
Just put a 2nd set on last fall, after 27600 miles on the first set. (Lots of highway miles, but probably 5k too many.) I’d certainly recommend them again, so that makes 101%.

101%? - that's not how it works - what if there are 15 responses? that would be 115% and everyone knows the max is 110%.
After 11,000 I need to replace my Pirellies. I find that Michellin does not have the rear size. Going to Continental. Anyone have experience with these??
Thank you scm. I’ll make sure I send you the Continental Tire-sponsored shirt which was originally earmarked for DJS the next event I host. Please PM your mailing address (I’m not kidding).

I have run the all season Conti's on the wifes Turbo Beetle and they were a great tire. Best rating for a tire in the wet. Lived in Seattle at the time and was well tested. Also ran the Conti summer only tires on my Mini JCW and had a few track days too. Good predictable tire, no complaints and would buy them again if that helps. I run Michelin Pilots on my Maserati and a good sticky tire but wear pretty fast as stick tires tend too. Rear Pirelli on my Ducati lasts about 2500 miles but they are sticky and not recommended for the rain. I thought about harder rubber but when you feel the front end slid a bit and then regain grip you think "Would the harder rubber regained or kept sliding?". I always go with the sticky rubber. They are all crap after you mount up some racing slicks.

-x% here. I do not run the Michelins as I wanted a tire that would do well in the cold and the rain (well, California version of Cold). I'm running the Bridgestones and am very pleased with them.
Ok, anyone ever heard of this brand? Vredestein Ultrac Vorti. Anyone know anything about them? They were rated high by tire review and they are dirt cheap compared to others ($139 /per after discounts at Priority tire).
I had premature catastrophic tire failure on left rear, fronts are about 75% so this will be a two tire only deal. Then back to 4 Michelin’s next time around. (2014 Ftype SV8). This site rated about 50 tires, and the Vredestein rated 5th overall.
Vredestein makes some "WOW" tires. Or, I should say tyres (with the 'y'), because most of us outside of European climates hardly hear of them. They and Nokian became famous all around Europe (Nokian more for their mastery of winter tire rubber, Vredestein more for their summer performance tire designs).
I can't remember the website that explained it, or the reason for it, but yes there is a REASON why their tires are so inexpensive yet so clearly loved by performance car drivers. The reason they explained made me laugh, and it was a darned good reason. I have wanted to try their Wintrac so-called "winter performance tire" for performance cars, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.
If you have access to them in your region, yes don't be hesitant to try them out---the company is self-made, renown and righteous. Not one of those experimental exotic brands just sprouting up in the weeds.
