New Custom B-Forged 3-Piece Wheels w/ Michelin PS 4's 275/30ZR21 & 325/25ZR21 Rears
Got my long awaited custom-built B-Forged 3-piece wheels from Billet Specialties in on Sunday and the tires came in yesterday, Got them put together and installed today and couldn't be much happier. B-Forged built an absolute work of art with these wheels. They are flawless and the design is just plain sexy. Went with stepped and polished lip and a gloss gunmetal center. Had to go with a 21" inch wheel to clear the brakes in a 3-piece. Was planning on running Michelin Pilot Sport 4's 255/30ZR21's in front and 305/25ZR21s in the rear but no one has them in stock and more than a month out before there was even a hope of getting them. The tire shop I deal with here and I talked and we decided to give a larger size a try. Went with a 275/30ZR21 in front and a 325/25ZR21 in rear. They said they would test fit them and if they would work we would keep them, if not they would ship them back at no cost to me. I cant say enough goo things about Tire Discounters on Nicholasville Rd. here in Lexington, Ky. Everyone that works there is top notch! They really are. They have handled my previous regular Hellcat tires, my newer Redeye Widebody Challenger tires (summer and all-season sets) and now this is the second set I have gotten for the Jaguar from them (all-season Michelins on factory rims, now Summer performance on these new custom wheels. Anyway, I thought you F Type SVR guys ought to know that B-Forged can not only build you a badass set of wheels but their measurements were perfect to flush them up to the fender edges and the build quality of the wheel is second to none. Here are some quick pics. Sorry the car needs a wash, we just had rain and a little snow over the last few days.

Looks fantastic! Somehow the tyres don't look as over sized as I thought 275 and 325 would do.
Totally unrelated, but do you happen to know what percentage you have on the window tints? I'm just about to have mine tinted but haven't decided on the level of tint and yours look really good.

The wheels I got a slight discount on but were essentially $8000 shipped. 3-piece forged and totally custom built doesn't come cheap. B-Forged is like Billet Specialties "premium" wheel line and it's no joke. I have bought a LOT of custom wheels over the last 5 or 6 years for the different Hellcats I have owned and I have to say these B-Forged were the very best quality and fit and finish out of them all. They are were flawless. They also changed the backspacing to flush them out to the edges of the fenders while still keeping them just deep enough to tuck without rubbing. I have to admit I was guessing 60/40 at best that they would be fit perfectly the first go-around as this was the first set of 3-piece forged that they have ever built for an F Type SVR or R for that matter. They are a relatively new division to Billet Specialties. The springs are factory ride height, however the added inch of wheel diameter and the 2/10"s more diameter of the tire really filled the gap up well. As far as the window tint goes, I went with the maximum legal tint for here in Kentucky and with the best quality tint I could find at a very reputable tint shop that has been here for decades. The tint film is the SunTek "CXP" tint. Its a nano-hybrid carbon tint with a great warranty that knocks out a ton of UV heat, etc. while not blocking out your radar detector, etc.(our factory solar/thermobolic? windshield does enough of that by itself!) The sides are 35% while the back window is 18%. Its more than enough so you have privacy but still legal so no tickets. Even if it is very bright outside you can only make out that shapes from either side unless you have the glass roof option and the shade pulled back. Hope that answers everyone's questions but if you have more fee free to ask. I will say this, I MIGHT be the first to have 325/24ZR21's on an F Type SVR or R. It is absolutely possible with no rubbing or binding as long as the wheels are built properly.

In looking back at the pictures it looks like I have a new project to handle, cleaning up and repainting the calibers to look new along with adding the proper factory decals to them afterward. I may pull them and get them powder coated instead, just not sure yet but will do one or the other. I had previously looked into adding the carbon ceramic brakes, the one factory option this car doesn't have that I wanted, but the cost is crazy high, like 14 or 15k to go all four corners minimum.

IMO, caliper paint will look great and will last forever (16 years/200,000 miles on my daily driver). You can just brush it on, the paint is high-leveling so it looks fine.
This is my product of choice

We used G2's Silver for two of our cars' calipers, and their standard Red for another.
No experience with the color-matched options that they advertise. If you are trying to match your exterior color (which would look good, but not make the brakes stand out like a contrast would), I see that they request the car's color code.
Computer monitor's colors are often 'off', but here are AFTER and DURING pictures of the red paint on our Honda.

I had my calipers painted by a shop and got a set of StopTech rotors/Porterfield pads and happy with the look of the upgrade but I think the paint on the calipers didn’t fully cure as there are some chips to the paint. I think next time around I‘ll look into 2 piece brake rotors and repainting the brake calipers myself.

I have been debating all day whether to go with red like the Brembos on my Hellcat Redeye Widebody (which is also a silver car and has similar wheels as my new F Type wheels) or just go with the original gloss black and white Jaguar decals like factory. I know at least a couple of you think red, what do the rest of you guys think? You can see a little red on both front and rear brake units as I am running the EBC Red Stuff pads on factory rotors currently.

Hey everyone, was finally able to get the calipers cleaned up and painted using the G2 caliper painting kit that you guys recommended. Bought the gloss black AND gloss red G2 kits to decide once they arrived. Went with Red and was able to get the correct silver Jaguar caliper stickers from England with the correct style "J" with the longer leg. I think they turned out real well. The only issue I had was that once you add the activator to the paint it is extremely hard to get all 4 calipers done in time. I started with drivers side front and went around the back and by the time I got to the passenger side front caliper the paint was really thick and extremely hard to get on. I managed to get them done but if I had to do it over again I would have bought two red kits and used one per side. That way I could have really taken my time and done the complete backside of each caliper in addition to the front faces and sides that I was able to do. Once they were painted I put a heater facing each of them for about an hour each and let them cure for 24 hours before applying the Jaguar decals.

Thank you! I am really happy how it all turned out. Now unfortunately I have to take the car to body shop to have the front bumper and grill replaced. This illegal Mexican with no drivers license in a total POS backed into me while I was in line at Mcdonalds with my daughter to get her a biscuit on way to her volleyball tournament at like 8am. I guess he decided that he pulled too far past the payment window after I had already scooted up and he just put it in reverse and hit the gas without looking! I couldn't do sh*t but honk the horn and it was already too late. It broke some tabs in the grill center and put a big crack in the plastic bumper! I was furious. He just sat there smashed into me while he paid and I was out of the car like what the hell are you doing? I told him to pull forward into parking spot and then blocked him in with the car. A really nasty looking meth/crackhead white lady got out of passenger seat and tried to talk me into taking his phone number and insurance info without calling the police. Yeah RIGHT! He didn't even had a drivers license so I had no idea of whether it was even his car or insurance. Once I called the cop the crackhead lady took off running. The driver didn't speak English but I made it very clear what he was going to do and to his credit at least he didn't run. I lucked out and the car did have insurance from the owner, but this guy wasn't the owner. He ended up going to jail after telling the cop in broken English that his birthday was in 1918.....LOL The officer told me that he was not legally in the U.S., did not have an ID of any kind, and did not even have a Mexican driver's license. I guess it could have been a lot worse but now I have to worry about making sure the paint is a perfect match. On the bright side, the body shop is going to let me come in and mount the custom-install front Radenso radar detector unit behind the bumper before fitting the new part. Something I have been putting off doing for some time..
