Default New F Type

Hello everyone, I purchased an F Type for my wife yesterday. We're away from home, and probably probably won't get back to enjoy the car for a few months, which is a bummer. I had someone pick up the car, take pics and put it in the garage. After reading about the F Type and watching videos, looks like I may have to steal it on a regular basis. This is my first post, and I don't know how to post the pics, but I'll try and get some up once I get it figured out.

Nice! First convertible I've seen with the carbon ceramic brakes. They look great.

Thanks guys, yes it has CC brakes. I had originally ordered a white car, when it arrived it didn't have vision pack, which I thought I ordered. I looked online for a car at a different dealership nearby to do an exchange and found this car. I loved the look it and ended up getting the car thru a dealer exchange for the one I ordered. This one had 100 miles on it, but I guess if anythings wrong that's why there's a warranty. I'm glad to join the forum, and looking forward to learning more about what appears to be a pretty awesome car.

Amazing car, exactly the way I would get it with the CCB's and red interior. I wish I could have found a coupe with them but there was nothing in the SoCal area so I just got what I got. Its not necessary (I dont track) but its sure nice to have especially when it comes to stopping and cleaning wheels.

Thanks you, I have an SLS roadster, it also has CC brakes, they're probably not necessary, but I like the look, and no brake dust to deal with. Are there any comparisons out there between the SLS and F Type roadster out there? They're very similar in terms of performance, I'd love to see a comparison if anyone knows of one.

I have not come across any F-Type S vs. SLS roadster videos however here is one with the XKR-S which has the 550hp engine that the R coupe has. The V8S, based on data is a tick or two faster than the XKR-S. Check it out:

Thanks Marcus, looks like it looks like F Type vs SLS would be a very close race.
