New F-Type
Hi everyone. I ma new here and I have never owned an F-Type before. Had a 2022 Z4 M40i. Lease ended but the convertible bug did not go away. Kept passing by the dealership on my way to work. In the showroom kept staring at this gray beauty. Decided to go in and negotiate a deal. $102,000 MSRP, negotiated to $77,000. Brought her home and cant stop staring at her. Weather is so bad that I did't even drive it yet. Can't wait.

The values don't hold well at all.

Not to derail the thread, but on pricing and depreciation, I was truly surprised at what the Jag dealer offered me on my 2021 P300 trade on a 2024 used P450.
The difference of what I paid last year was more than shocking.
Still, I do truly love this car and enjoy EVERYTHING about it !
BEST !

So for the first time, took the car out for a drive. Some impressions from a new owner who never had a Jaguar before. Gobs of torque from the V8. Very impressive noises. Feels solid everywhere but at the same time feels heavy (maybe my impression). I was expecting a bit of lighter vehicle since it was made to compete with 911 but at the same time I am not disappointed, if I wanted a sportier vehicle I would have bought a Boxster GTS. It's a GT car and feels like it. The looks, obviously, blow away any Porsche. Can't wait to put the top down and listed to those noises in the summer.
