Are dealers negotiating on prices? What kind of deals are people getting?

Can't speak to the current market, but as a data point this January I got my P450 for $4000 under MSRP. It was a $4k JLR Financing incentive.

I just ordered a 2024. Common sense tells me I've lost leverage on the price. Has anyone got under MSRP on a factory order?

Where you live probably matters. We only recently got 2024 allocations in the last couple weeks in Canada.

I got an allocation and did a factory order recently. I tried but got next to nothing. The amount off that I received is basically not even worth mentioning. The equivalent of some sort of rounding error really…lol

The Canadian market where I am will be different than the US for sure. Our dealers get far less cars than their US equivalents so they need to make money on the ones they do get.

I talked to at least one other Canadian on here that found the same experience for his purchase. Very little, if anything, off on a 2024 allocation.

2023 cars might be a different story. Not totally sure.

I usually pull the dealer cost on the cars I purchase with a paid service. The dealer was claiming the information I had was not correct and that Jaguar slashed their margins for 2024. I doubt that is true, but I can’t know for sure.

Is what it is. I want the car.

My sense is that it's similar in US. If you buy inventory off the lot you can get a few percent off msrp. Allocations are rare and if you special order you typically pay sticker
(And on Range rovers you are above sticker...)

that is very true. If anyone is looking for a 2023 or 2024 model let me know and I’ll see what I’m able to do. Work in sales at a dealer in the Northeast US

In 2021, I got $8K off MSRP on my new MY21 P380 from a JLR factory credit.
I guess things change - not necessarily for the better!!

They did slash margins, I saw the PO for my car, they lost money on mine. But in the end they probably broke even.
