Yes, the the OEM tire sizes are definitely within approved specs for the extra half inch on your HREs, but many have talked about going to 305s on the rear. I was just wondering if you went that direction. However, 10mm of extra tire width results in a pretty minimal increase in the contact patch.
We did try a 305 on the rear. There was not enough room to accommodate with these offsets. If we moved the rear in a bit, the 305 would have been fine.

Thumbs up

Well it's a toss up between your car and Vic's for toughest looking F-Type coupe on the planet...EXCELLENT choice on the wheels, the last picture you posted in the sun shows just how well the bronze wheel color plays off your grey...smashing!

What other mods are you planning...?

Much of what you indicate above is clearly evident in this one photo.
The side wall of your tires are "stretched" ever so slightly in an outward direction to properly seat to the wider rim.
The same OEM tire on the OEM 10.5" rims bubbles out ever so slightly from the face of the rim, as the seal edge on the tire is forced inward a small measure to fit the narrower OEM rim.

If I were to place a straight edge across the entire face of the OEM wheel/tire assembly, that straight edge would contact the rubber, and the rim would be inset slightly. If one were to place a straight edge across Sandman's set-up, it appears it would contact the face of the rim first, as the tire tapers away.

Both work, and are well within spec. As I explained in another thread recently, installing the OEM PZeros on an 11" rim expands the contact patch with the road by approximately 2/10 of an inch. This setup does however potentially expose the HRE rims to more curb rash if one is not careful.

Thanks man!

We are getting ready to color/finish match all external emblems on the car. Tag Motorsports has been able to perfectly match the satin bronze finish. Dropping all of the chrome.

SandmanTR I am loving the car. The Jag is one of the best rwd cars I've ever owned but the GT3 is a race car for the street. They serve two different purposes IMHO but the GT3 can indeed be a daily driver. While the Jag still has the best OEM exhaust Ive owned (my 458 was bought with a capristo), the GT3 has a unique LeMans crazy 9k rpm shreik to it thats amazing in its own right. God I love cars---- the legal drug.

Did they say if they are taking the badges off or just painting them on the car?

We are ordering replacement badges from Jaguar. Tag Motorsports will prep and paint them for me. I've attached a pic of an Audi they just did that has the P104 satin bronze wheels. You can see the Audi rings and grill emblem match the wheels.

That's the best way to go, I just don't have a shop around here I trust to line up the individual letters. When you get 'em let me know if they come with some sort of template for spacing or just a bag of loose letters.

What should be a decent price to pay for spring installation?

Not 100% sure as this was the first time for me. I paid 350.00 to have them installed.

Its a 2-3 hour job depending on your tech. But I would think 3 hours is what a fair shop should bill you at their hourly rate.

Thanks for the untouched photos. Really like the satin bronze finish. It reminds me of the Porsche OEM titanium finish

Really wished Jaguar would offer some type of Titanium/Satin Bronze like finish. I like darker wheels, especially on white cars, but don't want to go full black.
If you ever get bored of your wheels, ping me

The rear badges, on the spoiler and the "F-TYPE" lettering all come pre spaced on backing plastic and with a cardboard spacer.

I've just sprayed mine all black

Tim, can you check your PM's on the UK forums pls?
Cheers.

BTW, The rims and the drop look drop dead gorgeous. I wonder what it would look like without the drop and 21's on? or is that tempting fate?
