Default New Years Day PA/MD/NJ Polar Cat Run

Last year on New Years Day several of us from PA, Maryland, NJ got together for breakfast/lunch and a run through some beautiful and twisty back roads of south-central PA and Maryland.

Unhingd and I discussed getting together again this year. Any ideas for a driving route and a restaurant (one that is open on New Years Day) to meet at are welcome.

Given the proximity of those that can potentially attend suggest we keep the route in the general box formed by I-83 as the western boundary and I-95 as the eastern one. The northern boundary should be no further north than I-78 and the southern boundary Baltimore. Within that polygon there should be some good driving routes and food options. Thoughts?

Anyone want to take point on planning a route? I did last year's but would like to give someone else a chance.

Also if interested in getting your cat out to play and join us, please add your name to the list below:

4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.
Etc.

Of course weather conditions will dictate for many of us whether we can go out so let's pray for no snow between now and then and fair weather that day.

Who's up for it?

At present it looks like we may not be able to make it happen. I won't know for sure about myself until late this week.

If not, lets shoot for something in the spring. I'm all for meeting up for a nice spirited ride, but if its 1 or 2 others, maybe we hold out for a better turnout.

My kitty is out of commission (story in 3 weeks). If I attend, it will be in a very fast MINI, so I won't really count.

I now can't do it. Have to move my son to a new appartment. So I guess we need to postpone to spring. Sorry.

At the risk of missing the potential irony of your reply......I'm a little mentally worn out post Christmas...you are always welcome!
