Thumbs up New Years Day run to Big Sur...

Had a great drive yesterday to kick off the new year with a drive down past Big Sur to Lucia then back to Rocky Point for lunch with the local Ferrari club...they were nice enough to let me tag along in the Jaguar and my buddy Bruce in his Aston Martin...the British Invasion was crashing the all-Italian party,lol...and needless to say, the phones and cameras were rolling all along the coast as we were making quite a scene...and a racket from the exhaust.

The weather was a bit iffy but it didn't rain and the sun popped out a few times, we were able to reach some triple digit speeds and this New Years day started off mucho better for me considering I was ticketed for 90 in a 65 last year, lol!

Managed to put 139 miles on the car, good time meeting new like-minded people...hope to do it again soon.

Looks like a great start for the New Year. We were almost up there for the weekend to visit relatives but had a change of plans. The meal looked scrumptious too! Driving my Pantera, though, would have been more appropriate with the Italian crowd. Happy New Year.

There were a bunch of like-minding car guys & gals doing the same thing up and down the coast including an early Pantera

Thanks guys and HNY to all.

Look fantastic. I think white is the best color for the F Type. Also, that Testarossa though...

Is that Nepenthe cafe in Big Sur? The seafood louie looks so good!
My wife and I stayed at Ventana Inn on our honeymoon 2 years ago.

Happy New Year

No, that was at Rocky Point which is the first restaurant you come up to heading to Big Sur, it's only about 18 miles or so past the Highlands.

We recently stayed at the Tickle Pink in the Senators Cottage and are going back next month before the great winter rates expire
