Default Newbie with a 2017 Jag F-Type R Convertible

Just picked up a Polaris White with Jet/Red Stitching Jag F-Type R Convertible. So far, I'm loving every minute of driving it. What a car. Still a lot to learn about the car and some things to get used to with it. (I came out of a 2013 Infiniti G37S 6MT hard top convertible)

Looking forward to learning a lot about the car and having a blast with it!

Have you got the Sports or the off-road AWD model?

Interesting that there are so many Infiniti folks here! The other car I was considering was an Infiniti Q50 Hybrid. Not so weird considering it is only 20 hp less and has four doors and four seats! Loved all the whiz-bang electronics, compared to my purely analog C43. It would have been fine I suppose, but I didn't want "fine," I wanted holy sh**-*****!! and knew I wouldn't really be happy unless I got the F-Type...
Welcome!

Welcome!
I actually have both the Q50 Hybrid S and the Ftype V8S. Couldn't live without the Ftype and I use the Q for commutes. But the V8S is no garage queen I can tell you that. Owned it 18 months and have but 18K miles on it.

I just love it. The Q makes me feel like I'm saving gas for my Ftype.

I thought about that too, there is a used crashed one that I passed on but started thinking, hmmm, maybe if i got it cheap enough...

Zzzactly... I feel like getting a Ford Focus electric or something to balance out the F-Type... But I'm getting about 22mpg so far (mostly highway with an occasional beat in the hills) so not too bad...
