Those ZL1 Camaros do look pretty cool, but it's just not my vibe. Not really into American muscle myself. Again, they are nice, but just not for me.
I figured, and good for you. That will be a gorgeous car, and hell of a conversation piece.

As for the Camaro, I get it. Vehicles can be polarizing. The 6th Gen (and American designed sports cars for that matter), certainly aren’t subtle.

Beware of that tire/wheel extra stuff. We bought the wheel insurance and found out later it only covered major wheel damage, not road rash as was verbally presented to us at closing.

I actually did look at the Camaro and considered it as a cheaper option, but came to that conclusion. That latest Camaro, I think I prefer it to any Mustang. I will say that. It is well executed.

Definitely not a big deal if you address it early and take care of things. Bolts. Labord yes/time...but not a big deal at all.

Contemporary 991.1's are showing bore scoring...that is a bigger issue by far...30k or so if you are lucky....there is a myth out there that these are not reliable cars. The F-types are super well done. The same myth inverse is that Porsche's are super reliable. They are not (993c4s and 996gt2 owner in the past...both were costly and per the club "normal" in that regard in all respects.....).
Just the braces...the rest of the car is super great. Note, no rattles, touch screeen is fast, and it drivers superbly.
