My MIL light came on, so I checked using OBD and it reports P013E (O2 Rich to Lean - or something like that). It went off on its own; but I bought an OBDLink MX+. Sure enough the light came back on several days later - same code. But this time I can look at the actual values. It reports O2 Sensor 1 with a value of 0.00; O2 Sensor 2 with a value of 1.27. I have monitored the value each time I've driven. Values have been: 1.27, 0.74, and 0.81 (these are always after a trip, while the car is in park). OS Sensor 1 always reports 0.00. What's up with that?

Other than the MIL light, I am not experiencing any other symptoms of bad ERG valve. I haven't had the car long - but I don't seem to be experiencing any performance issues. The car has only 7500 miles.
I'll be taking the car into the dealer. But I was hoping someone had some experience that could shed some light, and set my expectations.

I've just seen code P0042, "HO2S Heater Control Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 3," and am working to get it in for repair. This follows close on the heels of P0030, bank 1 sensor 1, that was repaired last September. I'm hoping to work through the last of these bad O2 sensors before my CPO warranty expires...

Judging by all the "my F-Type has crapped out" posts around here I must be the luckiest owner on the planet!
Two (count 'em, two) problems in 3.3 years of ownership on a five year old car with 56,000 km on the clock - the common rattly SC coupler / torsion isolator fixed/replaced under warranty, and a tiny split in one of the small expansion tank coolant tubes.
And that's with the larger crank pulley and tune for the last two years.

It's been a couple of weeks since I got the car back from the dealer. I had two problems: O2 sensor, and occasional "low battery, please start engine". The car had been in the shop for a couple of weeks, driven very little. So it was started but didn't get much of a battery charge. I got it back and experienced the two issues. Dealer charged the battery and said THAT was the source of the O2 sensor issue. I was doubtful. But it's been a couple of weeks and neither issue has returned.

i believe it; it is like the tachometer generater on the XK engine of the 60's (ref. to my 1966 Mk 2) hidden at the back of the right-hand camshaft, accessible either by removing the engine or by having a triple-jointed friend (with very long, thin arms and the ability to see around corners) who also is an excellent mechanic willing to help anyone in need.
