Default O2 Sensors

So my car is throwing a P0042 CEL - Bank 1 Sensor 3 heater control circuit. A few years ago the car threw a P0062 CEL, same issue other side and I just replaced the appropriate O2 sensor (bought from dealer for ~$250) and the CEL went away (the heater circuit resistance was way out of spec). I don't want the dealer to work on my car because they are not trustworthy and it takes forever to get a service appt. Since my dealer parts dept. now charges $320 for the sensor I would rather just get one from an auto parts store. Anyone had any luck at Autozone, NAPA or Advance auto parts? If so what part number/brand sensor did you get? And did it work out for you? The reason I am asking is a search on the forum indicates that some people got sensors that did not solve the issue.

PS: I am aware of the warranty on O2 sensors but I just just don't want the dealer to work on my car. Has anyone done the replacement themselves and got reimbursed?

These sensors are $50-100 from RockAuto, the only thing to be aware of is that the connectors are handed so right/left do not interchange though the sensor itself is identical. Found this out the hard way doing the sensor on my '18 Sportbrake S. A sensor wrench from HF is also very helpful. Though covered by mandatory extended warranty, dealing with the dealer just isn't worth it for a 15 minute fix.

Thank you for the suggestion. I completely forgot about these guys. Ended up buying the NTK 25752 (BTW NTK is NGK) that cross-referenced to the Jaguar part number C2D23703 was $84 including shipping.

I thought I remembered reading that you could get reimbursed by jaguar or the dealer for this. no experience myself but worth a try?

Might give it a whirl but for $84 probably not worth the effort/hassle.
