Default Odd Eco Start Glitch - 2015 F-Type 340hp Convertible

This has happened twice. When in Dynamic Mode with the AC on stopped at a stop light. I turn the AC off and the car dies (Eco Start). I release the brake and it starts right up. Anyone have this happen to them?

This is normal. Since the system is not calling for A/C cooling, ECO decides you don’t need the engine running while stopped.

It used to be that Dynamic mode would disable ECO, but I think this is no longer the case.

usually have eco switched off however on one occasion it was enabled I also noticed that with ac on and engine stopped in traffic it restarted the engine after a period of shutdown presumably to power ac compressor

It is not "eco mode" it is automatic start and stop mode. I turn it off every time I start the car.
