From OEM 255-295 to 265-305 tire on v6s

Did anybody upgraded tires just +10mm as subject states on 20" on the same compound on f-type?
I am about to order a new rims and I am on the fence if I should go larger for looks or not (rim would be ,5 wider for that).
I want to go the same height profile as OEM, for slightly taller sidewall too.
I know this solution is bad for my wallet (more expensive tires) and worse for weight (heavier rims and tires). I can probably live with that but I don't want to ruin the handling and make it understeer or something.
I know this size is used for SVR, but we are talking about V6+pulley RWD here.
Thank you for any relevant experience.

You don't say if you're already on 20s and what model, and don't say what rims you're looking to replace what you've got. I'm assuming 20 because of the sizes you list.
I went from 19" Centrifuge with standard sizes (245 and 275) for the V6s to 20" at 0.5" wider than the standard 20 front and rear, and fitted with SVR-sized tires (265 and 305) just as you are asking.
The Centrifuges were Michelin PS4S until I got a massive rear puncture and had to replace rears only with the PSS due to availability at the time. The new wheels have PS4S all around, and are lighter than the older set because the wheels themselves weigh a lot less.
I noticed no degradation in grip or balance going from the PSS to PS4S on the rear after the puncture, even with enthusiastic driving (no track use). Except in adverse conditions I always drive in TracDSC. The upgrade to bigger everything with the 20s did not affect front/rear balance (over/understeer) and overall grip is substantial. The lighter overall weight is noticeable, but not as much as if I'd saved even more weight with stock widths and stock (non-SVR) sizes with the 20s.
It is worth noting that I have the Wortec 2-piece rotors also, so saved weight there as well.
Am I getting any benefit with SVR sizes over R in terms of traction? I don't think so. Even my 19s had enough grip that there was no drama at any pace even remotely legal. I've once in a while used the G-meter to record and it's not hard to hit 0.9g on a decent cloverleaf without getting outside the comfort zone.

Thank you very much.
I am a bit outlier in my preferences, I want balance and progressiveness on the limit, since I love power sliding and just to play with the car. So I am even not prioritizing the most grip compounds, but more progressive and "fun".
I want to order BC racing forged rims, and because the price is substantial and I have to chose the offset wisely, I am gathering information in this regard.
Right now I am gravitating to order exactly the SVR rim size as you have got, with -10 mm offsets from OEM v6s. Do you have any photo how your setup looks like?
Thanks

In this thread, here and a few posts later I put pictures I took after mounting them, with specs on the wheels too.
