in case anyone else is looking for the part number, here's the receipt, its a Land Rover part, -- doesn't seem like Jag sells it at all [could only find the whole shifter assembly]

I never touch the park button. Pressing the start/stop button effects the engagement of park.(And, once again, please! with the portrait pic--ugh)

it's funny how much it bothers you frankly.

For the rest of us who have used our park buttons and worn down the finish, it is an $11 part and a 90 second swap.

Funnily enough I complained about my worn park button when I was nearing the end of my warranty. I fully expected them to just replace the 11 dollar part....nope they did the whole 750 dollar assembly. Fine by me .

Default Still in winter hibernation

Snow is melting fast but roads are still full of growels dirt and salt. Going for a holiday trip in two weeks time (for a three weeks roadtrip in California Nevada and Arizona), so it won't be let out till we are back.
Battery has not been charged on this side of new year, but when I checked today it still did not throw a low voltage warning. Plugged it in for a charge and had a look underneath to see how the cross beams had held up during the winter storage regarding corrotion. I had a anti corrotion treatment done 4 years ago, and it seems to have worked very well.

Shockingly, the next two bays have Boxsters in them. Doesn’t seem like any fights broke out over the winter...
