I was discussing shipping this car across the country to Cali. Just finished discussing a PPI with my local dealer to take delivery when they told me it was sold.
Congrats! Wasn't sure about the lowered ride quality with bigger than average wheels; lowering is not something I'm particularly fond of. How does it drive?

Wow that's funny. The ride is good on most roads. It soaks up rough patches and regular potholes/bumps fine. But big ones can be jarring. And you have to be careful with entry/exit ramps...go slow and at an angle. I think they probably went a touch too low with the springs and the tires, but that's easy to fix.

Yeah it seemed that way to me too. Part of the deal was going to be to have them switch the lowered springs back to stock or discount the cost so I could have my local dealer do it upon arrival.
Either way it looks great with the wheels and was a great deal for an '18 with all the options in my opinion. Congrats again and enjoy it! My hunt continues😁

Attendees of the 2018 Jaguar Wild Blueberry Blast - including our trusty "Road-Warriors"; especially our Road Warriors - will recall we had our final exceptional dinner together at Walter's. Well, I am here to report that after 14 years owned by Cheryl and Jeff Buerhaus they've closed their doors and tonight was the very last night. The restaurant business is not an easy one and they've decided to devote more time to relax and with their kids and grandchildren. Liz and I, and our son, had an amazing "farewell" dinner here tonight - our fabulous GM Mike (thanks Mike for the drinks!) and his wife, and their son, had dinner here on Wednesday night - and the City of Portland is less one incredible place to dine.
Separately, Frank and his wife dropped unexpectedly into Portland yesterday and had dinner at Pizzarino (where we kicked things off for the Wild Blueberry Blast) and I was delighted to have a drink and a pizza with them (thanks for that Frank) before I went home and had a second dinner.

Just came back from the Top Marques car show in Monaco and since I know a lot of people here like Aston Martin, I thought I'd share this. It was one of the top cars there for me:

Such a shame they are closing. The food there was fantastic and the service exceptional. They will be missed and thankfully there are many many other gastronomic wonders in Portland to choose from. Shhhh....don't tell anybody that more tires don't work.
Actually, they worked extremely well. (You may be too young to remember). The car became a quick success. But development of the bespoke front tires fell behind the development and advances for the full size rear tires, causing an imbalance in traction that caused the abandonment of the P34 project after just 2 seasons. Goodyear just wasn't willing to continue massive development on tires to be delivered just to the Tyrell team.

AM always been my dream car. The new DB11 Superleggera is just the most beautiful car ever made to my opinion. Hopefully one day..I already decided on color and specs
