The weather wasn’t cooperating and the car was filthy but here’s one from pebble beach yesterday...

Jay, had the F-Type out today and parked in between the two stop signs in your photo which is on Federal Street where I first met you and your stunning new Jaguar over 4 years ago! It was bizarre seeing downtown Portland so quiet at 11 AM during a week day and hopefully we'll return back to normal sooner than later. Props to all of the members who visited Maine during this great event, I owned a BMW M4 at the time and would have been asked to leave the street immediately!

Just so you know Jim, “members” have visited the State of Maine—driving vast distances to attend; including 100 miles west of Denver, CO as well as Canada—annually since the 2016 Jaguar Lobster Run. That includes the 2017 Jaguar Lobster Run, the 2018 Jaguar Wild Blueberry Blast, the 2019 “Non-Event” Event quickly followed by a “bonus” “Non-Event” Event. That makes 5 times quite a few of the esteemed members of this community, including a few outside of it, have tasted the pleasures of Maine as well as sampled some of the great driving roads the State offers.

Delighted to have you on board and looking forward to seeing you soon.

Some memories from past years 2015-2019. At least “social distancing via vehicle” is still an option!

Great photos MB and, of course, DJS has lots more! So now you know the “secret” to why I am usually going so fast; it’s to keep my distance from all of you as much, and far, as possible!

Here’s one of my favorite photographs—among many—from the parking lot of Forage Market in Portland, Maine.

One of those (2nd from left) looks like it has a nice wrap. I like that color!

And here is one of my favorites from Owl’s Head Transportation Museum in, where else, Owl’s Head, Maine; especially because we got them to open the museum’s enormous door for us.

Good eye! That’s one of our group who did wrap his F-Type is some “multi-colored”—depending on how you viewed it, the sun hit it, etc.—wrap. Others here can tell you what he did.

It's like the chameleon wrap. I think House of Kolors has a paint like that. I've seen a similar wrap on a friend's R8. My youngest son really likes it, too.

Wink

Sad to see her go but time to pass on my V8S to the next lucky owner. Check her out over in the marketplace, priced to sell.

I'll post pictures of her replacement when she sells - it also very much belongs on this forum ;-)

What are you trading her in for?

The replacement is already here. Selling the V8S to make space...

Will post pics here when the V8S sells.

I'm guessing F-Pace SVR.

Did someone say pictures?

As I do a lot of photography, I’ve been emailing family members daily with a collection of (non-Jag) pix. Fun.

You mean Shemp?

Was just realizing that was genesis - I met Unhingd and MBourne there, on our way to RickyJay’s. The rest is history...

(Wayne Carini is a nice guy, BTW. Roger rolled his eyes in horror at our Jags, Wayne showed us his warehouse, with many familiar cars. Good times!)
