Just sent over the funds for this beauty. Depending on transport, hoping to have it by next week. 2017 F-Type R. Aside from ceramic coating, thinking about getting tint. Any other cosmetic things people like, I haven't had much time to search just yet. I am so incredibly excited to be a part of this group and can't wait to start her up!
Lovely car. I would wrap the sills in gloss black to define the waist. Very cheap, effective, and reversible. On mine I left the edge body coloured which then matched the rear apron as well.

was thinking of doing the same on mine, I would also be interested in seeing how you “ left the edge body colored” We need a pic
My apologies to those who have suffered through dozens of pics of my car on this site...here is one showing the wrap. I had it professionally done, cost a couple of hundred bucks. It shows the waist better I think.
Essentially instead of wrapping it around the edge of the sills they just left the last 10mm or so the original colour. To be honest, I did it that way because I had paid for the design pack in the cost of the car (it came that way) and I wanted to squeeze a bit of "use" out of that money. I've had the wrap on the sills for about 3 years, maybe more. No problems. I've had it on the roof pillars for about 2 years maybe, no probs there either. But wrap is no good if you leave your car out in the weather all the time.

How expensive is getting something like this done? Any warranty or safety concerns? This is a new one for me...
They are illegal where I live so I didnt use them more for insurance concerns. Lots of people have them, if they were legal I would have used them instead of spending up on aftermarket wheels. The ones I bought said not to use them if you are tracking the car.

Your car looks great. I personally would NOT wrap the sills. I like them body color. Gives it a wider stance look. My opinion of course. Others may differ.
Cheers, yeah I have to say I am a fan of the sleeker look with a wasp waist (I reckon it could be enhanced further by having the wrap go up the body a little toward the back, a bit like the lines of the new Vantage). But like you I am open to other opinions particularly when expressed pleasantly, as you have.
Now that I have that Vantage look in mind, I might play with some wrap along the side...

They are fairly cheap and a very easy DIY to fit, although it helps a lot to have an assistant with his/her foot on the brake pedal to stop the front wheels from spinning.
No warranty or safety concerns I have ever heard of or read about.
Also consider fitting lowering springs as to be brutally honest your car looks like it is on stilts and it will look muuuuuch better once lowered.
Plenty to choose from - VAP, Eibach, H&R etc - just do some research on this forum.
Not a DIY job unless you have a hoist and are very handy with the spanners, but not real expensive either and good "bling for your buck" IMHO.
I really like the black wrap on Bruce's roof posts- results in an all dark greenhouse/top, very cool! Don't think that will work for my vert, especially with the roof down. Like the wrapped sills as well - am considering getting sills installed but am still undecided on whether I prefer the look with or WO sills.
I have though wrapped my inner door sills with carbon wrap since I had some laying around and needed a purpose and wanted to practice my meager wrapping skills
