I've only had my F type R for a few days. Wow what a total entertainment package this car is!

I wasn't totally sure about white at first but it has really grown on me.

Still at the dealer last week.

I love love love my V8S black/black/black vert!!!
However, I really had a hard choice btw what I got and a white coupe with black pack---most likely if I have my rag top vert outta my mid 40's system, in 3 yrs when lease is up I will go for the white coupe. Ive had my Jaaaag for 2 weeks and it thrills me beyond anything I can say--and people will break their necks on the road trying to figure out what it is! Congrats on your new car--enjoy it! Great color choice--do NOT think twice about it!!

The F-Type is wifey's car, she goes on rides with our group and hangs with us but she does not race me. It is hard to get her to let the exhaust rip .... We tend to switch at the half way point or lunch break.

Can't wipe the smile off my dial.

Been a lurker on the forum but took a lot of advice from you folk - worked out well.

The hardtop works best for me.

A few thoughts & observations.

The V6 S is all I need power-wise, the V8 monster would get me into more trouble than I can afford.

Rhodium rocks - doesn't carry dirt too bad, shows the lines well.

The 20 inch wheels are best (for me). The ride, even in Dynamic (why would you use another mode except if it's wet?) is fine. The Turbines turned out OK with the silver body color.

Essential to have the camera and sensor. Crazy not to go for the powered tail-gate.

They've upped the cluster display on the '16's

Looks neat. The multifunction screen looks like it's been upped on the pixel side as well, clearer and crisper than earlier models, with a faster processor (virtually no lag).

My only beef to date was a beep I couldn't kill for the first 2 days - they had the POI beep set on the Nav system - I thought it was a fault, happy to see that go.

Definitely going to take the advice to disconnect the battery on the Auto Stop/Start - why would you want that on a ride like this?

Also taking your advice and wrapping the front and sides in a VPS-type clear protective layer - not a bad price compared to prices quoted in the US.

Having a blast learning to drive her. Sport mode on the shift works well and has by far the best set-up but my favorite is paddling her in normal, Dynamic. When I found the snort on the upshift accelerating between 2nd and 3rd and up to 4th I knew I'd found heaven.

My take is that this a great car for the price - it's all I need.

Thanks for the guidance.
Hey man. Congrats. RS was my second choice. Went for Lunar Grey with everything blacked out V6 S as well. I'm with you on the V8. I'm very happy with the S coupe. Great combo for you, absolutely stunning.

Couple of on-track pics from the California Festival of Speed at Auto Club Raceway on Sunday. The wing mid-extension is killing me though... lol

Default Another new arrival.

Arrived today: Am I a happy boy...

Whirlinturbin - the last photo is for you my friend. Hope you can pick up the texture of the new Ammonite colour. Black pack with this colour on your AWD will look fantastic.

Thank you, Kevinuk -- absolutely gorgeous. Mine should be here within days. Love to see a pic of that red duotone interior against the exterior (maybe door open shot?). Enjoy in good health. =)

Here you go:

I added red seat belts, aluminium hex console finish, and jet suede headlining as options to give the interior a bit more "zing". Another very bright and sunny day here again today and worth mentioning that the light makes the red leather look much "redder" than it actually is.

Hope yours arrives as soon as.

Hey Kevinuk. Is the color you have replacing Lunat Grey? I have a 2015 V6 S. That's lunar grey.

Hi. Yes, lunar grey has benn discontinued and replaced by this ammomite colour. There is also a storm grey option which looks similar but is I think a bit darker. Lunar was always a nice colour IMO, but very happy with this one.
