Finally got my Nyx back after her beauty treatment. Got front bumper/headlights/rockers/side skirts PPF covered, Matte ppf on the side skirts to retain the Satin Grey finish and normal shiny PPF to enhance the Santorini black paint everywhere else. The entire car was Ceramic coated. 20% Carbon Ceramic tint on all windows with a 5% sun strip on the windshield. Since she'll probably be never as good-looking as she did today at the shop, I took some photos for the memories.

Thank you. I got it done at Detail Solutions after extensive research and reading a ton of reviews. They are very professional and a fun bunch. I got to meet the owner and all of the techs that worked on my car even prior to the job. Great communication and updates. The ceramic coating is backed by a 2-year warranty and has already been registered to CarFax (not a minor thing). I highly recommend them to anyone in the MD/DC/VA area.

Nice (except for the COVID part). I did a motorcycle trip in Portugal last year and saw only one F-Type.

My Jag has competition !
just been restored a 1968 Ginetta G15 . It weighs 500kg fueled and has 130 bhp ( on a good day lol ). No radio, no infotainment rubbish , analogue and fun.....
even the cat 🐱 prefers the Ginetta !
okay , the Ginetta with its roll cage , and its even smaller than a mark 1 Austin mini .....
the ginetta is hot ( no aircon) and uncomfortable , and takes time to get in and out ( with its 1960's F1 style lie down seats ). The jag is a great cruiser but far too big
On britains overcrowded roads....

Drove up to the UK last weekend for the world's biggest monthly Jag meet outside the Jaguar Heritage Trust collection at the British Motor Museum. Really nice event and the Jags they have in the heritage trust collection are just mind blowing. Got lined up together with some stunning ancestors.
Also spent a lot of time on English country roads in the Cotswolds. Among other things I passed by Jeremy Clarkson's farm shop and did Harry Metcalfe's (Harry's Garage) test roads a couple of times... here's a stop along Harry's routes.
Highly recommended for anyone within driving distance from those parts of the UK and I was actually a bit surprised that I was the only foreigner attending the meet.

A Father's Day tradition, the local Jaguar club JTC and its members presented the Cats in the Garden display at the historical Van Vleck House in Montclair, NJ.
The weather was great and the turnout was fantastic.
Here are a few F-type attendees.
A group of 'civilian' non-Jag owners voted on the best cars of the show...predictably, they seemed to like the E-Types the best.
OUR TIME WILL COME.
