Love the red top. Not something you see every day and makes the car stand out even more. Great choice!

Having lived in Georgetown (Colorado) many years ago, I have been lucky enough to drive on all the roads you posted. You're making me itch for a Colorado vacation...

I remember one night in a snow storm driving back on I-70 from Denver up to Georgetown... There was a place where someone owned a heard of buffalo. (not sure if they are still there or not) but the buffalo had got out and were crossing the interstate in the snow storm at night! Talk about scary.

Time for a road trip!
It's 1677 miles to the Rockies, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses. Hit It! (first, up to visit Jay)

I left my office last Monday evening and noticed a fair bit of white ash all over my just washed black car and smoke in the air. I’m about 60 miles from the Valley Fire which as of now is 50% contained with over 74,500 acres burned. Looks like the cooler weather we had earlier this week helped but sadly there is no real rain in the forecast any time soon.

Fall colors Colorado.
Aspen in the fall.
Mt Crested Butte and Ski area.
Mt. Crested Butte.
We took a drive over to Crested Butte yesterday 90 miles to the west over the Cottonwood Pass (12,126 ft). CB is an old mining town with the ski area on the hill to the north. The area is great for fall colors. There was a rally of a dozen Corvettes in town yesterday in perfect fall weather.

A few pics from a recent visit to deepest darkest Cornwall & Devon (south west England); parked up on the moors of Dartmoor National Park.
You'll have to excuse the dirt, it was pretty filthy at this point! And yes, that is real sunshine in the UK, it's not photoshopped, honest (although it did rain later that day of course!).

Now that's (IMO) how pics should be taken..no trees/power poles growing out of the car and no other distractions to compete with great pics. Nice and clean..

Thanks Jay! (And Mbourne!)
Spent a week on holiday down there, hoping to stumble across the 'right' place and this was what I'd hoped to find. On the one hand, it would be nice if the car was spotless, but on the other, I like that it's pretty dirty (although it looked a lot worse up close!), it shows it was at least driven!
I had the whole front plus sills covered in film, and cleaning it today, I was glad I did...the sills were COVERED in crap along their whole length, and I can already see a scrape on the front film (top of bumper/fender) where it looks I'd have had a nasty chip without the film. So much so, I'm gonna get the doors and rear wings covered next.
